Masterclass on blues technique. Hands down the best instruction/examples. Thank you once again maestro
ОтветитьI love your videos man keep it up. I get a lot out them
ОтветитьReally Great Job Man ❤❤❤
ОтветитьIf only I had a usable pinkie finger 😢. Great video.
ОтветитьEven an example tabs,I appreciate
ОтветитьAmazing guitar playing. Exceptionally clean and beautiful blues lines and gorgeous vibratos! What a lesson!
ОтветитьCurious why the g dominant chord works instead of using Gmaj7 since the latter is out of the harmonic minor scale?
ОтветитьAwesome, love the details on the rhythm part and the phrasing, thanks a lot Alex! Have a nice day ahead
Ответитьwhat a great lesson. thank you!!
ОтветитьThanks Alex for this vid. I’m new here, pushed by one of your students, for a reason ! Your pedagogic approach is interesting, playing and sound outstanding, pace and tone of your voice perfect for a non English, your studio is warm and welcome. Well, shorter : you have one more strong follower! 🙏
ОтветитьShow!!!!!!!!Congratulations from Brazil.
ОтветитьAbsultulty dug it.
ОтветитьThe tune has some really cool changes. Thanks for emphasizing them.. cheers Dallas
ОтветитьHey Alex! Great stuff - what strap is that? I really like it.
ОтветитьWow! I just found your channel, love it!
The room ambience is incredible, but the playing and explanation absolute first class. Thanks from NZ.
That intro lick... so simple, so beautiful. Wish I could come up with something like that some time :D
ОтветитьAlways wonderful playing and tone 👍🎸 best to you man!
ОтветитьThank you Alex! I have been listening to and playing blues for over 45 years and I learned things in this lesson that will improve my playing. The use of the staccatto and "little breath" notes in the phrasing is awesome! I have never read or heard anyone mention the concept of "getting the vibrato up to speed quickly", which is another revelation (and will require some practice!). You are the best!!
ОтветитьThanks Alex for sharing your amazing wealth of knowledge with us.
What Sunbear PAF model pickups were you using?
Another outstanding lesson Alex, your attention to detail is phenomenal
The big takeaway for me here is to concentrate on smaller specific areas of the pentatonic boxes instead of all of them , cheers my friend 👍
What a fantastic video have a good weekend Alex also happy new year also what is your favorite guitar ❤😊
ОтветитьThank you Alex! The care you put into these lessons and the attention to detail is hugely appreciated. Just signed up on Patreon, an absolute bargain. Cheers!
ОтветитьSo great, Thank you.
ОтветитьWELL DONE, GOOD JOB
ОтветитьLearning the five shapes is next on my list. I also need to think of scale degrees as I go, and not just "All these notes work!"
ОтветитьThe part about using 2nd finger ascending and third finger descending (shape 1 to 2 or as some call it home base to Albert King box) is something I missed long ago. I breezed past it know realizing the issue it raised and am still struggling to over come it to this day.
ОтветитьReally sweet stuff. Thank you.
ОтветитьOne thing I love about your choice of songs is that they inevitably have ideas that show up in (relatively) newer more familiar stuff. That G F# Bm progression reminds me of “Hey” by Pixies.
Ответитьthank you, definetly one of the most important channels for me right now !
ОтветитьHands down the premiere guitar channel for enthusiasts, professionals, bar room brawlers, and for anyone that just wants to jump on board for a listen. I’m in the ‘enthusiast’ group but learning a lot with these in depth lessons and I’m also a Patreon subscriber which I highly recommend as the reference material for each lesson is extremely complimentary to the video. Another banger Alex, already looking forward to next week!
ОтветитьFun lesson and lots of great material in the Patreon package. Just taken a break from playing to the backing track on continuous loop.
ОтветитьYour lessons are beyond comparison, outstanding! Especially the ones for Mark Ribot, Jimmie Rivers and Django
ОтветитьLoan me a Dime Fenton Robinsons version by Boz Scaggs with Duane Allman is another great minor blues....
