ОтветитьShould we give up on humanity now or wait for another masterpiece to be ruined by Hollywood
ОтветитьI am not moved by this good sir, I am not moved by this at all.
ОтветитьAbusive fathers were the Shadow of Colossus all along!
ОтветитьYe ye ye.
ОтветитьSBFP SHOUT OUT
ОтветитьFROM THE WRITER OF STREET FIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN LI
ОтветитьGo.
And throw this script in the trash and set it on fire, jfc.
Aggro is Mono's horse.
Trank got banished from Hollywood for having a hissy fit behind the scenes of Famp4stic. He wanted to make a good movie and Fox was like "naw son" so he threw a hissy fit and got a bunch of people upset.
So, Dormin is now unambiguously evil. Alright.
Also, a crying shame that they don’t do the thing with Malus where his eyes turn blue if Wander waits long enough.
A turtle's carapace and plastron (the under shell) are not fused together, but connected via a tough membrane so the shell can expand for the turtle to breathe. (At least this is what I remember) So, yes, one can cut a turtle apart and feast on its " oozing innards".
ОтветитьThe writing is Cage-esque in quality
ОтветитьThat's some Uwe Boll level of crap.
ОтветитьThanks for doing this because I was under the impression that Dan wrote it, who I actually like
ОтветитьI don't know what's worse reading that Shadow of the colossus screenplay or watching DSP play Shadow of the colossus.
ОтветитьThis is like fan canon written by someone who played Shadow of the Colossus, and completely hated the experience.
ОтветитьTake a shot every time Dan removes his glasses/pushes them up to rub his eyes.
ОтветитьNOW GO.
LET THE LEGEND COME BACK TO LIFE.
Alternatively I can imagine it being said with the GOOOOOOO voice clip from Rule Of Rose that Mr McMuscles loved so much.
I never played Shadow of the Colossus, but this is making me headadesk over and over.
ОтветитьWhat if you: wanted a faithful SotC film.
But Justin Marks said: "I WILL be selfish!!"
I’d tolerate this movie if wander is 2 ft and agro’s a 7 ft giant
ОтветитьThis movie will be dog shit if it still getting made
ОтветитьYou said the last 15 pages is about destiny but it’s the last 16 pages
ОтветитьI like the water buffalo thing just because it's a neat way of including the fanmade names. That's about it though.
ОтветитьThis might sound selfish, but I think it’d be cool with the Entire Movie to have the made up language they made for the game
Ответитьjustin marks really wanted to fuk agro
ОтветитьThe question is...
how did Justin Marks go from writing Legend of Chun Li and THIS
to writing the 2016 Jungle Book remake and the story for Top Gun: Maverick?
holy shit this guy sounds likr benson from regular show
ОтветитьWOW! Don’t know how I ever missed this, but I’m glad I discovered it now! Think I gave up ever expecting this script to appear. I’m a big fan of the game, and also the series of the other games. Which this is all connected loosely to as well! This script sounds terrible though. So glad it wasn’t made. Though I hope we get a film made one day? Either as a film or a series?! I have my own ideas on how it could be done though! If your interested to further discussing these days? I mean how hard is it to mess up a film, which has a BOY a HORSE, and a LANDSCAPE in it? Anyway a Great vid! Thank you very much for posting! 😊👍
ОтветитьConsidering he just wrote Shogun and how similar some of its themes are maybe Justin could try again and actually nail it this time
Ответитьin my opinion, a movie about Shadow of the collosus should be telling the tale, lore, prior to the events of the game and ending with the introducction and the first collosus custscene.
ОтветитьI know I'm, like, 6 years too late on this, but wow! This screenplay is beautiful. It's a trifecta of interests. it's a perfect example of how not to write an effective screenplay, since it never really communicates what things look like or how it is going to communicate the information it contains. It just sorta tells you what characters think and feel, and what things are, without stopping to consider that it's supposed to convey that information in a visual medium.
It's a great example of how not to adapt something, especially something beloved, subtle, and highly thematic, since it grabs one or two subthemes of the original work but entirely fails to convey the main themes of morality, means vs ends, and callous cycles of violence.
And of course, it's a great example of how not to take real world inspiration, how not to world build, and how not to respectfully depict other cultures.
This is a wonderful dumpster fire.
I just came to say this movie is still a thing
