My girl friend always tries the game because I’ll be either enjoying or complaining about the same flashy game. I will be showing her this because no joke that ending will only be funny for people before season 3 😂.

See the thing about me being "good" at the game is that it is all based on luck and how I am feeling that day.

What I mean is that, I do know how to play the game and I practice almost 2 to 3 hours on the game every day when I get the chance with different teams (my current ace in the hole team being Android 17, Vegito/Blue Goku, and Beerus). But the potential of me winning a match online in ranked battles, that will vary based on luck and how I'm feeling that day (i.e. if I'm in the zone, as they say), because some days I will be whooping a good majority of high ranked players who were very hard to beat btw, out of the blue, and I'd be pulling these weird ass combos I never thought I could pull nor did I practice, while laser focused on my opponent, and these players were rank Pride Trooper, Angel and Zen-Oh and my ass is a measly Super Saiyan God rank, I don't like it.

But then it could be the complete opposite on others day to where I'm not as focused and I'm getting my ass whooped by the high ranked players or players lower ranked than me and all they do is spam the same buttons constantly, while I'm struggling to focus.

Idk man, I think I'm at my limit to getting good at the game, I'll still continue to practice and play for funsies, but when it comes to winning online battles for me, it will all be just based on luck and if I'm focused or not.

P.S. Also, I'm not sure if this is a factor that plays into this, but I'm also Autistic and don't like too much change to many things, and the fact that i am playing a fighting game to where people constantly change their teams and fighting tactics and strategies i know for a fact from experience can throw me off sometimes. I'm learning to adapt to it, but it ain't easy lol.

I recommend doing 5M, 2M, 5H as a common blockstring. Most characters (not Jiren) can do this string, and the pushback from 5H keeps you safe (if you want more safety, add ki blasts or a beam or an assist). If any of the attacks land, you just started a medium scale combo for high damage.

after watching this i realized i have no idea of any fighting game terminology

does he actually know how to play the game or..? Not to be hateful or anything but the "bread and butter" combo isnt the universal combo that everybody should already know(2M, 5M, Forward Jumping M, 5L, 5L, 2H, Super Dash, 5M, 5L, 2H, Jump Cancel, 5M, 5L, 5H). The team comp thing also isnt very valid.. play who you want, everyone in this game is great at everything. Go wild.

All I need is just to learn the controls and naturally I'm bad at fighting games I just played this game on the ps5 and I sucked but eventually I got a little better and all of a sudden he goes black Goku and just does the same move over and over again and it's practically impossible to escape I get a few seconds of breather and then the same thing happens again I don't know the exact buttons but he just chases me and launches me in the air and attacks from there only to do the same thing and I can't defend and when I do and get the split second to attack he hits me again it's practically impossible to escape those moves and he won't teach me how to play and he also providing trash talk but it's not really trash talk more like he saying stuff that makes me angry implying I'm bad at the game and it's just so frustrating anyone got tips?

A lot of weird info... Like not talking about tags and how you need to just always leave your anchor for last? How C-assists are literally made FOR beginners but you say it's not good for beginners? And "soft" knockdown is completely different from "sliding" knockdown, which is what you meant to say. Crazy using notations like "IADs" and "L, M, H," when addressing an audience NEW to the game lol
But it is nice seeing new people getting into the game!

I used to play this game so much with my friends, I could play every character. I mained janemba, cooler and base vegeta. I want to get back into it, just need to work the rust off.

If yoy wanna get good on fighterz. Get a friend whos godly and run his ass daily learning how he plays and applying it to practice mode. Thats how i learned. Got my ass whooped for 3 months straight till i started finding my beat and my best characters
