I was envisioning her at a 1969 Woodstock concert. Her voice is nostalgic, yet modern. She is a timeless talent and needs her own records recorded. She is exactly what the music industry needs. She writes her own soulful music and her voice is like a beautiful tree swaying in the wind. She's effortlessly beautiful. Good for her! ❤if there ever was a perfect recording voice, this is it. great control and pitch. excellent songwriting. She should be in a recording studio already. I loved her voice in both songs!👏

She has a great voice. The show is so phony, her first song was great, how is it no one applauded, then suddenly she says 2 words on her 2nd song and everyone is nodding yes much better....oh please, such a phony show.

Notice that before Dani sings, Simon does something really smart - he encourages her, works to calm her nerves and tells her the judges and audience are on her side.
As a singer and performer, this is invaluable. When walking onto a stage - any stage- there is a moment where you 'read the room' and try to sense what people are feeling, whether they will enjoy and accept your music. I would venture a guess that a giant theater like this is much bigger than many musicians have ever performed on, and it can be nerve-wracking.

She is > Stevie or Miley etc. Why? Not a lot of studio orchestration of the voice, writes her own songs and plays an instrument. Win or lose, she has a future in this biz if she keeps her head on straight.

Simon was right, once again. Even I heard that that first song wasn't doing her any favors. She's simply too talented to fail, caused by playing the wrong song. My 5 cents.
