There are some good synths on that album. When I heard this song for the first time, I was like "Roger Waters goes synth-pop and new wave?" Great! I mean that could've been easy a song by The Cars or Psychedelic Furs, don't you think? :)

Approaching 50, Spotify tells me I’ve listened to this album more than any other. It’s like an old friend. Love it. Thank you RW.

My favourite album awesome

September 17, 1987. Phoenix, Arizona. The Veteran's Memorial Coliseum. I was 18 years old. This concert would not be eclipsed until I saw the band Heliung on September 29, 2022. That's a damn long time to be at number one.

There are SO many mixed opinions on this album. I could do without some of the production but overall, I get what he was trying to do. Love going back and listening to this one every now and then.

I swear I thought this was The Cars. Roger sounds like Ric Ocasek here (who is awesome).I don't know if he intended to, but it's brilliant! He must have been listening to them a bit at the time. Either way really good one, this, and a really cool departure for him

Roger and Pink Floyd have so much great work, much of which feels timeless. It’s an absolute pleasure and honour to have this music to return to time and again.

Am right bk at 13yrs old,giggling, stoned listening to dogs barking somewhere on this album,for weeks I was out the window lookin for the dogs, something changed in me that day,but I knew drugs was wrong,but tell me don't and this kid did
