Tsunami Horror composed by Lilian Chan

Tsunami Horror is a piece I composed and performed for the opening of " Tranquility • Vibrancy" - a solo art exhibition by Chan Chok Ki. I got my inspiration from one of the painting called " "Hong Kong Tsunami 2019?". You may visit https://www.chanchokki.com/ to see the details of the painting.

Tsunami represents destruction whether in nature or in the world of finance. Glissando on the harp suggested the movement of water. Therefore, to create a massive wave, I played in a minor key with different glissando effects. The chord used in this piece is a spikey minor sharp 7.
