Whilst Cecilia’s technique is more than adorable I am almost positive that is not what the composers envisaged, certainly Hayden or Mozart. Way too much forced dynamics. Some of the passages do come out well, despite being, somewhat forced, others the vibrato and power simply blows it out for me.. The proverbial D. Oistrach vs Menuhin. One tremendous gymnast and the latter more of the heart, given my violinist’s background.. As much I respect Cecilia’s technical mastery, she will not make it on any my desert island disks.  Will I listen to her? Absolutely but with measured enthusiasm.
