I had the non oled version , the oled version i think has better color reproduction, I was to excited buying the G9 version, should wait for the Oled Version

from watching other videos on the same monitor, apparently, if you switch from the display port to the (i think it was hdmi port) the resolution issue with the text and everything is fine.

I think the perfect size for UltraWide monitor is 34 or 38", 21:9 for pc desk use. If is biger (like this 49,32:9) from that I need turn my head to see the left and right site of the monitor and this is not practical for FPS shooter games.

I'm waiting for a 7680x1440 super ultra wide monitor to replace my 3 x 1440p monitors :) My wait may be in vain though :P

I was.gonna get this for my ps5 and my series x but not now. Helped me make my decision since neither will run it at 240hz nor do eirher of them havr rhe 32:9 ratio.

Great if you like shooters for that extra FOV but most games are developed in 16:9. I can't imagine playing a horror game like Dead Space with that ridiculous FOV.

hey there! isnt there a mode that we can use the black borders on the left and right while gaming in 16:9 in the middle as virtual mointors? That would be awesome. For Spotify, Documents, Videos, etc. Thats whats holding me back investing in an ultrawide.

i've used that, but in windows it's very BAD than G9 49" Gsync... it's OK only in game, but with gsync compatible it's not stable and definitions on windows fonts it's horrible 😐

Definitely a sick and cool monitor, too bad a lot of games I like playing don't support this resolution or either there is clipping where you can't see top/bottom portions of your screen.

You shoulda waited or maybe researched a bit more when it comes to upcoming monitors, you mentioned in the vid that you wanted a 1000R curve super ultra wide which was like 2x 4k monitors side by side, which Samsung are actually releasing the end of this month or next month, the Samsung odyssey G9 57”. It’s not oled but it’s bigger and has a matte finishing.
