I know holding your urine can cause serious problems. But some jobs don't allow you to go to the bathroom. I had got a job and was working in a place. I wasn't allowed to go to the bathroom and was forced to do the work for a long time. After a few weeks, I got a urinary retention and a UTI. So I just left that job and started working in another place.

Because I was too lazy to use the toilet, I held it too often and it lead to bladder retention issues in high school and I even did potty schedules to keep my bladder empty because teachers wouldn't let you use the bathroom unless you had a pass. But you only got 3 passes per quarter. So I went between classes and then I had a sensitive bladder where I felt I had to go all the time. Drinking lots of water would trigger me to go a lot. I even tried bladder training and I gave up.Then after having two kids, I deal with bladder leakage off and on and pelvic floor muscles dysfunction. I have also gotten bladder spasms as well. I do use diapers.
