The Cheviot, Northumberland - 27 February 2022

A 15.5 mile walk from Hethpool in the College Valley. The route heads up the valley to Cuddystone Hall before bearing east to Goldscleugh. From here the route turns south and climbs the eastern flank of The Cheviot before reaching the plateaued top and then the summit. The return is made by heading south west to Scotman's Cairn before turning west to Auchope Cairn and then the Mountain Hut of Auchope. Finally the route heads north down the College Valley back to the start
