I saved this video a long time ago, like more than 2 years ago, without wanting to watch it so as not to get spoilers. I saved it just for that moment when I finally finished the novel. It took me a long time to finish it because I really enjoyed reading it but I didn't want to finish it and at the same time, I needed a proper mood to read it without suffering so much. So I purposely read it very slowly, and sometimes I even paused it for many months before resuming it, so I had to reread chapters to remember where I had left off, etc.
But this month I couldn't help but finish it at once, so quickly...
But I don't regret reading it slowly and I don't regret saving this video until this day as it's a story that I clearly enjoyed reading more than finishing. What makes TGCF my favorite is because of how easy it was for the Xie Lian and Hua Cheng to love each other. The other two Mo Xiang books are great, but the ease these two just slot together is shown really well. Hua Cheng and Xie Lian can really be felt as soulmates.
