Your music is irritating as hell. And the videos too damn long.
Ответитьthank you for the video! We used to vacation in Wildwood....50's. I loved the ocean!
ОтветитьI cannot believe this the beaches were huge it took forever just to walk down to the ocean actually driving down right now I love driving in the middle of the night. I wish I had somebody to walk around with when I got down there but I’m just dying to see what’s going on with the beach I can’t believe the ocean is right there, is it deep or is it still shallow? Can you still go in the ocean?
ОтветитьHistory repeats itself, the planet will be mostly water again at some point.
ОтветитьWhere do you think will the northernmost public beach access be for the summer of 2024, where you can lay out all day?
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьTwo guys deny you live in Wildwood. Phil Swetsky and Bob Adam's. Is that true?
ОтветитьMy wife and I got married on the rocks at 2nd and JFK.. where the gazebo is…and had a mini reception to the right looking out to the ocean…2014… so much beach then…now it’s gone crazy! We stay around 9th and JFK every June …sad to see
ОтветитьWhy did the ocean move longer up the beach
ОтветитьDoes anyone know when North Wildwood’s going to get a new boardwalk?
ОтветитьNotice how the beaches stick out further into water where there is no sea walls? That's because sea walls cause more erosion and speed it up. You need more sand and rows of dunes, not more sea walls.
ОтветитьFabulous photography!
ОтветитьHello Joey , will the beach look this way this summer? or it can change by then, I go around 9th
ОтветитьSpeaking of North Wildwood, I’m surprised they didn’t put a sign on the Boardwalk showing where they border each other past the Gateway 26 arcade casino
ОтветитьI didn't see the bulk head at the life guard station? How old is this video? It's says 2d?
ОтветитьAmazing how in 30yrs the beach is all gone from 2nd to 22nd st. Blame it all on global warming definitely!!! 😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьCheck out the Beaches in the Crest they are Hugh. Mother Nature seems to have a mind of her own
ОтветитьYou showed how the beach was built up the last couple of years. Are there any plans to build it up again? I'm in FL, might drive up to see for myself.
ОтветитьI was wondering if this summer you can do two separate videos on how the boardwalks have been upgrading year after year and showing new photos from this year can you do one video on the North Wildwood, Boardwalk, and one video on the Wildwood Boardwalk please
ОтветитьIll come every year regardless but ill just come earlier this year so the beach wont be over crowded with less room now
ОтветитьFrom 10NBC Philadelphia FEB 4,2024
"New Jersey is refusing to allow a shore town whose sand dunes have washed away in places to build a bulkhead to protect itself, ruling that no one is in imminent danger.
The state Department of Environmental Protection told North Wildwood on Wednesday it will not give permission to the city to build a steel bulkhead on a section of beach where the dunes have been completely obliterated by storms.
That prompted Mayor Patrick Rosenello to say Thursday the city will move in appellate court for permission to build the barrier, which the state says will likely only worsen erosion from the force of waves bashing against it and scouring away any sand in front of it.
“Obviously we are very disappointed in the DEP's continued lack of concern regarding shore protection in North Wildwood,” he said. “The department has failed to do its job and now they are trying to thwart our efforts to protect ourselves. Frankly, it is unconscionable.”
That’s right my father and my aunt said when they were teenagers the water went right underneath the boardwalk at 24th St.!!!! You don’t hear anybody talk about that! PLEASE SHOW THAT SAME LOCATION AT LOW TIDE! When I was a child 30 years ago, there was no beach there ! They should do what they did in Ocean City Maryland!
ОтветитьWhen I was a kid the ocean would come right up the boards
ОтветитьMy grandparents owned a house on 8th street since the 50's. I spent all of my summers living in NW. You used to have to walk through two dunes to get to the long walk to the beach. So sad to see the beach gone. Thanks for the video Joey.
ОтветитьThat's unbelievable. But it's pissing up a rain pipe. 30 year's of visiting and it gets trashed every other year. Those Hotels and Condos will be lucky to have 5 year's before they get reclaimed.
ОтветитьNJDEP is very myopic with its “Trenton knows best” attitude. After two floods in Passaic county this winter several mayors asked the DEP to lower the water level at a critical lake ahead of the next storm in hopes of lessening the expected flood. The DEP refused and the third flood followed.
ОтветитьExcellent video with a great score?
ОтветитьAwesome videos im from northen nj
ОтветитьRemember that beach at 22nd St. used to be several hundred yards to the water in the 80s
ОтветитьRemember that beach at 22nd St. used to be several hundred yards to the water in the 80s
ОтветитьLooks like it's gone.
ОтветитьThanks for the update.
ОтветитьJust think, we always get a sizeable nor'easter in March
ОтветитьUsed to fish from the bulkhead at Moores inlet when I was a kid. Also fished from the jetty at 2nd and jfk. It's just a vicious cycle that it's going back to how it was in the 80s and 90s
ОтветитьMy family stays on 2nd ave and last summer it was nice having the beach right across from our condo. I guess not next year. I also recent saw that the condo on the corner of 2nd and JFK sold last year for a million or so. I guess the previous owner saw this coming and thought it would only get worse. Great views from the condo thought but awfully close to the incoming water.
ОтветитьWW has a major problem
ОтветитьAre the beaches going to be flooded
ОтветитьJoey, is that u shreddin on the guitar???🎸🎶
ОтветитьDid they consider making a breakwater which runs parallel to the beach.
ОтветитьIf that’s low tide I’m scared to see high tide let alone another storm😬
ОтветитьI live in Wildwood now but I agree back in the sixties the water would come under the boardwalk. My family use to put out their blanket there
ОтветитьIt is amazing the cycles that beach goes through!!! I always love your drone footage! Thanks!!!
ОтветитьI stay at 16th at the Matador and will still fly from Phoenix this summer regardless. Sad to see but Wildwood is the best!
ОтветитьStill cant believe Cape May is getting view blocking dunes built at Higbee Beach on the bay side.........but North Wildwood cant get get any protection from the Atlantic Ocean.....what the heck New Jersey!?!?
ОтветитьThis is astounding.
ОтветитьStop by the PT Lounge this summer! 😁
ОтветитьBloody hell! 2 years ago the inlet beach was huge. That jetty didn't even reach the inlet. And now there's no beach from 2nd to 7th. I hope everything can get sorted out
ОтветитьAwesome Joey!!...I love living vicariously through your videos in Wildwood's off-season...Keep up the great work and thank you!!
ОтветитьYou call 96 History ? I use to fish back in the 70's when the water came over the wall where the Jetty is. Caught plenty of Kings there & Blues back then. That's history. Another thing about history, DO NOT SCREW WITH MOTHER NATURE. Lot's of money thrown away & the Idiocy of the Army core of engineers. Let nature take it's course. You want to go to the beach ? Go to Wildwood or Wildwood Crest.
