Honestly I don’t think this has anything to do with too many international breaks… possibly for saka, but everyone other one of them have Irish ties, or have been caught up in controversy playing against Ireland previously. It’s because of that.

If there was no Nations League they'd play friendlies instead.
And regardless of the competition it's a disgrace if you refuse to play for your country for no or obviously fake reasons. It should be an honor and everyone who is not injured or sick and still refuses to join the national team should never be called up again.
This is what's wrong with this English team. Way too many garbage personalities.

Well, if the primary reason is the games are a waste of time, another reason could be that portion of players don't buy in to Cardsley's style and tactics. They're not going to want to participate in something that feels as if the previous coach is in charge, knowing a new coach is soon to come in to arguably freshen things up. You'd have to question the motivations of the players.

Waste of time games playing for an interim manager that doesn’t need impressing as the new man’s due in down the line already. Literally no point playing.

I salute every single one of those players for taking a stand and deciding to withdraw from the England squad. We really do not need all these international breaks, we've had 3 already since the season started and we're only in November. It is an absolute joke. Do we really need this stupid nations league thing? Euros, yes. World Cup, yes, as they are played in the summer during the close period. But come on, isn't it time we stopped all this madness. These footballers are playing way too many games now. Injuries are occurring way more often now than ever before, now we have players withdrawing from playing for england, which I might add, it should be an honour to represent and play for your country, yet here we have footballers dropping out because they feel they are playing way too many games and they are absolutely right, and some it's fair to say have had enough, and quite a few club managers are getting fed up of it too. I don't really know what more evidence and proof UEFA need. For the love of football please just scrap the bloody nations league and stop all this madness. It is an absolute joke.

As if England just won the World Cup or European Championship. The truth is that the Nations League only replaced pointless friendlies. But those friendlies, just like the Nations League, are useful in preparation of the big tournaments.

The young players have no heart and only play for money. It is only easy to bail on your national team when you are not dependent on them for your pay!

Try out to not play the carabao cup if you really want to boycot pointless games! I guess you would not, sadly.

Who ever asked for this nations league?!? NO ONE! Fans definitely didn’t. UEFA did, and they are the most greedy, selfish, self centred entity I’ve ever witnessed in modern times. They aren’t doing it to improve football it’s to line their pockets. I hope enough players boycott it so it just can’t go ahead. We as fans only care about the World Cup, and our other tournament which would be Asian cup, Euros, African etc. This nations league is a farce and I can tell you fans of football couldn’t care less who wins it because it has no worth or weight at all.
