- What Zeno is teaching in this story, its written in the holy Quran (1500 years ago), Islam teaches of Stoicism and (or) about this lifestyle, everything Stoicism preaches, Allah taught us in the Quran (1500 years ago), I strongly suggest reading the holy book (Quran), and learn about Islam, learn how life is simple and see how life becomes way easier to live and understand why everything that happens it is for a reason, It is a book with no mistakes, don't be scared to open your mind and heart to other ideas and ideologies, read and learn yourselves.
ОтветитьLiterally me.
ОтветитьI come back to this video, rewatched it many many times. Mostly when I feel overwhelmed by emotions and helpless. Makes me feel little bit better, like I'm not a total failure.

ОтветитьTop-notch video! I've also tuned into the same thread on the Stoic Scrolls channel, and they presented some noteworthy perspectives there. Kudos for these inspiring videos! Each one is a treasure trove of insights.

ОтветитьThis also situation happened in my life; all my years of effort of collecting 44 Gig of porn was gone. Corrupted by a shitty scam a 512 gig SD card. I didn't feel anything but indifference; I learned the concept of my own stoicism by then.

Teachers are struggling in high school idk others but high school are bit complicated.
ОтветитьI try being stoic, but I lose my stoicism after I lose in a hard game after doing much effort.
ОтветитьI had decided to finally workout and fix my health, but then I got my health report back. I had high cholesterol and diabetis 2. I had a day where I doubt everything around me, and everything I could and did. I then used that hard time to make it a motivation. I have lost 25KG/55 LBS in 3-4 months. Instead of giving up and let myself be consumed by it, I build it into something that I could move on from and learn from. Learning to be healthy, learning to eat well, working out and taking care about my body. I still have a good bit to go, but I’m glad I had this happen. I learned not to take my body for granted, to focus on me and learn from this experience. Many other things have also happend in my life, but I think that is a good example. I didn’t know I could relate with the ideals of stoicism untill this video. Thank you.
Ответитьi am gonna wtch this everyday now until i remember every word :)
