No no Bryan, thank you. and put that tongue away you naughty man.
ОтветитьRoxy Music influenced many many big eighties bands plus a good few seventies bands. Including John Lydon.
ОтветитьFonzi Thornton and Michelle Cobbs on background vocals and dance extrordinaire. Anybody remember who the 3rd singer is??
ОтветитьAndy McKay. Legendary saxophonist
Ответить...one of the best...drummer and Phil top...all in one..
ОтветитьI Get So Bloooowwwnn AaaWayyy!🤗🤗🤗
ОтветитьIm a bit of a Neil Young purist but this is different and really good it shouldn't work but hell it really does.
ОтветитьAndy's perfect tenor tone and Phil's Strat tone ,o yeah and Bryan's tone. Saw them once, The High Road tour in Mesa,AZ 😮was an Amphitheater and fountains on both sides with coloured lights, looked and sounded Perfect😊
ОтветитьGran Brian Gerry en versió de Neil Young.
Molt bona! ❤
wonderful
Ответитьmy nomination for the best cover ever.
Ответить❤❤❤Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music ❤❤ Sounds that play good feelings to my heart.
ОтветитьRoxy was always under rated. terrific live.
ОтветитьIf Neil Young had a British accent this is what the song would sound like, even the guitar work is Neilsy imo
ОтветитьThen what happened?
ОтветитьIt's almost as if this song was written for Roxy Music. I saw them perform this at Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto in the early 80s.
ОтветитьBrilliant....unreal...just brilliant
ОтветитьLove this song. One of the best versions
ОтветитьBrilliant. Brian Ferry makes music an explosion of heart and mind.
ОтветитьBrilliant guitar work
ОтветитьI saw this show at the Universal Amphitheater it was my second Roxy Music show after the Manifesto Tour at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in 1979. I saw Bryan Ferry every time he came to Southern California culminating with the Roxy Music 50th Anniversary Tour at the Forum. Thank you Bryan for a lifetime of great music and memories. The 1988 Bete Noir Tour and the 2014 tour in Santa Barbara were incredible.
ОтветитьJust a pity it was boiling hot weather in Frejus and he had to dump the tux and bowtie and unbutton the shirt and let it become wrinkled and his fringe droop too. He looked SO splendid at the start of the gig.
ОтветитьWhat a dreamy dreamy scene. Flowing skirts gorgeous men and music real music!
ОтветитьRoxy Music covering Neil Young sounds like a terrible idea and yet it totally works. Fantastic version of a classic song.
ОтветитьWOWWWWWWWWWWW 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👑🌻🏆
ОтветитьThat sax part is outstanding, Phil’s guitar too....
ОтветитьHow did they get Mark Cuban to sit in on the bongos for them back in '82?
ОтветитьOwned it!!!
ОтветитьFonzi Thornton also gave an extraordinary performance.
ОтветитьSince Neil sucks as a human this is a Roxy Music song. And they do it 10 times better anyway it’s all theirs in my mind.
ОтветитьBeautiful version
ОтветитьWOW Phil
ОтветитьI saw this at Wembley absolutely fantastic!!
ОтветитьAndy Newmark was in the pocket playing with Roxy.
ОтветитьI wish I had a time machine to live that golden age again
ОтветитьAndy Newmark on them Wackers wow!!
ОтветитьThis is how James Bond does a cover song.
ОтветитьWhat a load of crap
ОтветитьManazanara's 'Hurricane' guitar solo on The High Road album is one of the greatest things I have ever heard in my 60 years on this planet.
ОтветитьI see Tawatha Agee and Fonzi Thornton!!!
ОтветитьI was there. King Crimson (the Fripp/Belew/Levin/Bruford line-up) opened. What a magical night!
ОтветитьI bought a DVD of this many years after seeing it live they start off looking so cool and end looking absolutely wrecked! Get in.
ОтветитьSaw them do this at Wembley in 82. Best concert ever. My mate went the next night and nearly 40 years later can still feel the pain I had that she was there and I wasn't!
ОтветитьI was there in frejus that night, oh my days what a memory. Love Mr Ferry ❤️
ОтветитьI dunno why I was surprised that this was good, it is Roxy Music afterall
ОтветитьThis is a Roxy Music song that Neil Young plays occasionally.
ОтветитьBryan Ferry could take any song and make it his own. What a talent and the classiest looking dude ever. James Bond on the music world.
