Dial Vision Review: Do These Adjustable Glasses Work?

I am 77 years old and I don't care about looks....just want to see better.

Hmmm. New design of birth control glasses. Smart move is identify military as focus demographic (see what i did there?).

This is an older review but when a commercial for these popped up today they showed you as part of their commercial so of course I had to watch the review. Based on your review I'm going to buy a pair to keep around for emergencies but now they cost almost twice as much.

FYI, they may add a haze to you peripheral vision, but your peripheral was never in focus anyway. They just blend better with what is in focus. human eyes have a very limited focus area, actually

what I find funny is why do you have to put your hand over your eye, don't you have eye lids, just close the eye

Are these glasses OK for distance vision? I was born with Nystagmus and Astigmatism and
would really like to drive. But with my current prescription, I am not able.

The sales pitch states that you will never have to visit your optomitrist ever again. This is a VERY DANGEROUS CLAIM. PROFESSIONAL eye examinations are the only way to get a proper prescription for eye glasses. 
Many other potentially dangerous conditions can and are detected during eye examinations. 
Retinal examination can reveal early onset T2 diabetes, blood pressure & heart problems, it's not only a pair of glasses you go to an optiomitrist for!
If found early via professional eye exams the conditions can be addressed, possibly cured and certainly simply by getting sound medical advice often a course of preventative action can be started. 
Of course if you are one of those crazy characters who thinks you know better than professionals and you don't care about sight loss, heart attack risks or T2 diabetes with the possible life changing effects that these often controllable illness can cause ... then go ahead, get two pairs.

I couldn't care less if they're ugly. I tell them just let me see the ugly, cheap frames because my trifocal lenses are so expensive.

This is a cheap piece of garbage. I bought it just to check. Very small field of vision makes them useless. It reminds me of the xray glasses in the back of comic books when I was a kid. My first real doubts came when my bank blocked the purchase because the company is in Lithuania.

Dont use driving if peripheral is blurred! I have probs watching tv due to medication & feel I need 3 pairs of specs. Would this work or does peripheral cause probs with wide-screen tvs?

This is a great review. I have similar issues that you do, with the multiple ghost deal. Thanks, this is what I was looking for. Oh, and I also most forgot, I'm wondering if these glasses would be hard to clean. As you know, regular glasses are difficult to keep clean.

I'm not sure how you guys see through them at all! No matter where I set them, everything is a wavy blur. I find them a complete waste of money.

Trust me on this...these things are crap. Don't waste your money. I bought a pair and discovered they are made so shoddily they are basically unusable. The focusing adjustment breaks easily and the lenses are made out of a cheap clear plastic that has so many flaws you can barely see through it. The lenses are also too small and vision is focused in a small area along with cheap material so it's distorted.

What really infuriating is that the concept behind them actually works! I do feel that adjustable glasses like this are a great idea and would work great "IF" they used quality materials and engineered it better. It would be more expensive but I'd definitely be willing to spend some money if they put out a quality product.

So why is it made so badly? Maybe they are still making some money putting out a cheap garbage product but they could still make money putting out a quality product that is more expensive, maybe even more, but how do they know if they don't try?

This is my theory: Trace back ownership of this company and I'd be willing to bet it's a glasses manufacturing corporation that bought up the patent on this and deliberately puts out a shoddy product to turn people off of adjustable glasses and keep somebody from stepping in and creating a quality product that actually works and takes a huge dent out of the glasses industry. Not to get too conspiratorial but it's bizarre that somebody would put out such junk under the pretense of helping people.

Peripheral vision impairment can void our driver right and license. That made this product road / highway illegal.

That is nothing but a complete SCAM. I am an optician, and if you want to be able to see properly with eyeglasses, you have to see an eye doctor and get an eye exam and then get the prescription that your eyes need. First of all, you have to measure the distance between the pupils, second, everybody has a different prescription, and there can be hundreds of different prescription combinations. So, how about you go to an eye doctor and get an eye exam, then show those glasses to the doctor and ask if it is the prescription you need.

Hi, thank you for your Tests! I am searching for glasses for a specially case: Playing music in a symphonic brass orchestra. I am playing trombone. So I am fixed in my position... I only can move the eyes over the notes... Normally I wear Varifocal glasses... but they don't work here because I cannot move my head to search for the richt focus point... Additional, my myopia changes over the time and depends on Day shape. That it looks ugly is not important because I play in a big Orchstra an I'm siiting in the back row and most time I'm hidden... So I will try it. I can give feedback later...

I have kind of bad near sightedness and am middle aged. 👁️👁️I have been using them for 7 years but only when I drive at night and day. I even bought them in 🕶️ sunglasses. They adjust the same. 👓🤓

Why dont they make the small lens to match the size of the large lens? Why doesn't it fill the peripheral space? And they need to make them in different styles. You can also tell they are cheaply made.

More thought went into the box they came in then the glasses. pure junk

They might be a good idea for archer or target practice.

The problem with Dial a television is that The lenses are too small. If they made the lenses wider it will eliminate a lot of the problems, and you would have better looking glasses.

Pure garbage, I knew I'd been had as soon as I took them out and the refund process is purposefully laborious as to make the buyer say "forget it". Don't, these are shit and they should be held accountable. Don't even think about buying these unless you wanna trade your hard-earned money for hot garbage.

@Freakin’ Reviews Freakin’ great review. Stumbled upon this video researching these for my mother who has nightmare vision at different levels in either eye that fluctuate like the weather. So my fingers are crossed 🤞about these. I seen another review that said the older ones that were called instant 20/20 Were great but the new ones SUCK. Have you any clue to the validity of this statement?

I am fascinated by this idea but yes they are super ugly. 😂 I honestly wouldn’t mind the smaller lenses. They’re larger than my current ones actually. I just have a really old prescription and tried getting new ones and kept having to return them because they’d get the prescription wrong. I finally gave up and just kept using my old ones. 😂 But I’m really tempted by something like this that I could adjust as I need to.
