I have our local mini mart supplied with 3-2.5 gallon buckets. I pick them up every day or two and throw them in my compost pile with shredded cardboard and green trimming from the yard. I have amazing soil now after 2 years. The worms love them!

If you don't compost them first make sure you spread them very thinly. If not they join together and repel water.
