Old fool. If he kept his sabers, Luke & Anakin, and more so Rey & Ben, wouldn't have been ready for his skills. And Mace probably wouldve had more trouble against Palpatine if he used both sabers.

You know something. There is actually a lot of quality in sidious. One I have alwayss known. His ambition/very ambitious, His ambition is incredible, is SECOND to NONE, in that way he's very cool. He's also funny in his own-way. And competitive/organized. (Can Thank crosshair for that one, gets things done).. he's not all that bad.. yknoww. I'd happily trade my ambition for Darth sidious ambition anyday. He also likes power. Well without power how do we keep ourselves from being pulled Into wrong. How do we maintain WISDOM? Or keep ourselves ahead of potential rivals in our path/maybeeee don't mean us well. I try not to have enemy mentality but it's always possible. Weakness is also a path to evil and that's how people become corrupt, corruptly powerful (hating/despising everyone). And without compassion for anyone.

Made me realize If question one thing eventually ends up where even least guy who has least going for him actually has a lot too. He also knows power of dark side. I could really use some of that right now, I just see as alternate power. An an all encompassing view of the force.. it's not what. It's how.. idk about dark side. But alternative side sure.. and he's incredibly open to things. Which I like.. even things which have detrimented others in the past.. and doing away with old logic simply because it is written. Greater picture than picture itself. Doing opposite. Showing compassion where others sources tell to do opposite. Also quite an interesting character. Also very grown up on his intellect.. and a big thinker. Hence why greatest sith lords of all time. Because he does all this, he questions. At their root. If there isn't a way to make a thing possible makes it possible. I always thought he was undervalued/underestimated/underthought in his true value. True actual value I mean.

When Sidious uses lightsabers he is amazing, far better than just using Force Lightning. But this why I love Darth Maul because of his use of lightsaber skills than the use of the Force.
