This is a very unprofessional mayor. I admire the sentiment o f what he said, but if he can't follow up on his threats, all he has done is make the other side stronger. He's let his ego get the better of him, making promises he can't cash. And now he has shown he is weak.

I agree with the mayor on principle, but his take wasn't quite correct. The assignment itself wasn't pornographic, but it did prompt the CHILDREN to create their own pornography, which is grooming behavior, which is contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The board that approved the material and every teacher who handed it out should be arrested, charged, tried, and convicted.

I first saw this on FB earlier in a slightly different version. It's about time someone grew a pair to put on notice these so-called "educators" who have become so Liberal that they see nothing wrong in indoctrinating students at a young age to participate in such an assignment. My hat is off to this brave Mayor who refused to become part of it.

It is unclear what the charges are? Well is "Distribution of child p0r*ography" not enough?
