Marriage is a damn joke nowadays anyways you still have successful people who don't even like staying married. I was married once and that's the only time I'm ever getting married.. and if I somehow do get married in the future it's only because it's a business move not because of that whole lovey-dovey blah blah shit

I think nowadays, folk who weren't inherently selfish are jumping on that train, left and right, because it's now acceptable to give up on ANY commitment made, at ANY point, for ANY reason.
So, it didn't matter what effect it will have on your spouse or children, YOU DO YOU, BOO. Everything and everyone else will just have to follow suit.
YOUR truth, YOUR desires, YOUR happiness and peace are what matter, after all. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I come from a broken home of parents who decided their desires went above our needs as children and my siblings and I are STILL affected, today. My parents are verbally regretful to us, but there's nothing that can remedy the anything, although I am grateful for their regret and apologies to us, even if they did come after mental/ emotional breakdowns.
We CANNOT JUST think about ourselves in these matters, society. We CANNOT.

Idk the exact details of her divorce so im not gonna lump Tia into this commet but barring infidelity or abuse " happiness " is a bad excuse to divorce in general especially when young kids are involved. Social media and the feminist movement have destroyed families. Men and women need to put self aside especially when kids are involved cause it really isn't about you no more once you have kids.. One's definition of happiness can change with time or situations. The question is what's her definition of happiness now? Is happiness to her now is thinking of herself , is it being single to not answer to no one ? Happiness is an emotion that changes . Making such a big decision predicated on such a inconsistent thing like feelings is a dumb and irrational move.

God Has to be everything we do when we must be praying for our partners please do not listen to information like this however, be careful who you marry marriage is supposed to be permanent you don’t get to exit because you’re not feeling good about yourself. So she divorced her husband because she needed to prioritized her happiness. Typical modern day female selfish move. She cannot do all the things she yakked about: self love, blah blah blah while married and had children. Just as she will not take responsibility for her decision to start a family, she will not take responsibility for the subsequent fall out...as she is a woman in her early 40s with two children. Her ex-husband will have his pick of women, she will not have her pick of men and will probably remain single. She will start to blame him for her predicament. Just wait and see.

I asked my husband the other day how could you stand to be with me let along stay married to me for 15 years..his reply, I knew you would change what a strong word.. honestly I was so selfish, always put my self first, which is not a bad thing..but never I mean ever considered his feelings..what I trying to say is no one wants to fight for marriage anymore, just want to throw in the towel and call is a day..shit takes work but it's worth it if u see the potential in that person..
