Im an advanced crocheter but I went ahead and subscribed because the stitching is perfection, the music is calm and not obnoxious and the patterns are quite lovely. Just wish they would call it crochet. Crochet and knitting are 2 different skills. Not a combined term.

@gretalillet1100- it's definitely not true that the non-english speaking countries don't differ. What a strange assumption ( and funny too, as the word crocheting you use is based on a French word).
Here in Germany we have 'Häkeln' for crocheting and 'Stricken' for knitting.
In all other European countries there are different names for different techniques as well.

This is absolutely beautiful. Im really new at this and trying to understand the 2+2+2 term. Does that mean i end my chain in an even number? Just trying to figure out how long my chain needs to be for a blanket

I love this so much but need help! Every time i don’t have enough for the last two or three pull throughs. Can someone tell me a number for how many to make the initial chain? I’m using thin yarn, i did about 34 but not enough. Help!

I love this stitch! I’m hoping to make a blanket for my daughter. How many stitches would you recommend in the initial chain? I tried 180, but it doesn’t seem quite wide enough. I don’t know the proper terminology, but I guess I need the appropriate multiple (?) to make sure it’ll work out correctly. Apologies if this is a stupid question. I’m a beginner.
