Analyst recommendations are also a major source of market manipulation that is under looked. They just want people to see “strong buy” so that they buy the stock themselves.

Thank you for this info, I've been trading for a year every day and have noticed that sometimes it seems like either an algo, operator, or some other unkwown factor targets my account as it goes the opposite of my trades despite all the indicators. It happens way too often to be chance or bad luck, and many other traders have reported the same thing, I have yet to find anyone talking on the subject. Do you know what I'm talking about, and is there a more advanced form of manipulation that we don't know about?

I used to work for a hedge fund, we used to call retail traders "Worms" because thanks to them we will catch the big fish. We now have a huge market manipulation around AI which is the new buzz word, just look at stocks like NVDA, they are trading at 160 PE ratio and is still being bought as long as they keep spewing AI AI..and the retailers buy and spruik it back to the masses while hedge funds sell on their back

Bottom line: there are several forms of manipulation used by hedge funds/big investment banks. And sadly, most are legal and the SEC is corrupt/in cahoots!

It is systemically rigged against the investor. They short the stocks. There is a specific religion that I won't name here but they use their funds to buy the data of enemies and those that have left their religion and short them and manipulate the market. Then, you have a what is the return over the previous week in the account system that asset managers can buy that lets them track and see who is buying what and who is the top performer. That is the problem because there are these American Psychos that can access your information and get jealous or angry at you for beating them week after week. It is a sick practice and regulation needs to be done because my personal information should not be sold to a 3rd party or anyone outside of the government for them to prevent fraud or money laundering. They should not be able to access or buy my information outside of any other purpose. Imagine the ability to harass someone with that information. I am sick of the entire system being manipulated and even if you do win, they will just do bail ins and we will have to bail them out. The IMF is treating the people unfairly and giving preference to the failing banking system so that they can have the control by using bad trading behavior to gain control and steal funds from them. We are not responsible and as such the government's failure should be the source of the bailouts not us. The government failed in their policy and every single house representative and government official that failed in oversight of it, should be bailed in first and kept that way. Wealthy have negative accounts with banks. That is not where they will go. Bail in the corporations that they own and the cash that they have. They contributed greatly to a failing system. I curse the IMF that they will never be able to gain any more wealth and that any member that even suggest doing bail ins will be cursed and their children cursed to face 10 years of tragedy for every million they suggest.
