Was that a yes we should buy one or a no we shouldn’t?
ОтветитьI got this car. After 3 years of research. Got it for a bargain price too.
Ответить經濟
ОтветитьI'd really like one of these, but the road tax is astronomical, £675 for a post-2006 car
ОтветитьMy current and previous five cars have all been Jaguars. I have tried all the German alternatives and found them to be lacking in something. The only car I have driven that I considered was a Lexus GS350h, a stunning car. Only problem is the mechanic I have gone to for years will not touch hybrids or ev's.
ОтветитьJust had a go of my mates. Lovely car. Can get them remapped to 228hp he's avg 34mpg
ОтветитьI gonna watch one tommorow 2.5 v6 2010 low mileage hope it s gonna be good
Ответитьif you so like, you can import a very low mileage Toyota Mark X with the 3.5l from Japan for the same amount of money. The mark X is a rebadged IS for the JDM.
ОтветитьI wonder what Top gear would make of this? They only like cars that break down a lot
ОтветитьI have the 3.5L version down here in NZ - as a Japanese import - it's a very quick little 4 door
ОтветитьIt's a notoriously unsafe car.
Ответитьwhile i am looking at a r171 generation slk 350, i have been trying to find an 08/09 is250 to look at and test drive as i do like the look of these . certainly one of the nicer saloons about. i have never been in a lexus, nevermind driven one, so i wont know what to expect, but for me aside from the style its the v6 that i want. not exactly cheap engines to maintain in any manufacturer , but i want to experience my first v6 ownership and while this car might become a novelty if i got one, its certainly a long term car for its practicality.
ОтветитьYou’ve almost convinced me to swap my Mk5 GTI for an IS… 🤔 Anyway Matt good to see you looking a bit more cheery these days.
ОтветитьMy lexus is220d has 120,000 miles and still no problems
ОтветитьIs it only the models released in the second half of 09 that have had the facelift? I've seen 09 models without the wing mirror indicators
Ответитьthank you for this coverage i am 65 and had so many crap cars about to buy a 2010/11 lexus is 250 with paddle shift and sub 70 k mileage got service history
ОтветитьWhere u get da wheels from ?
ОтветитьWhat is the insurance like?
ОтветитьReally enjoy your videos. I want this car.
ОтветитьJapanese cars will always get you far they are so reliable💯
ОтветитьI just bought a pearl white 2012 is250 sports luxury model 13500km on it I’m so excited next Friday
ОтветитьRazzing your mum’s car 🚗 bad boy
ОтветитьGood car but a little boring to drive
Kevin
already fucking have it ... wtf i love my F- sport
ОтветитьHow come they don't cost much more than a Yaris?
ОтветитьDo they have the issue with carbon build up?
ОтветитьThank you for this detailed and very useful update.
ОтветитьI love this. I wish you could give me as a gift for my birthday 🥺🙏🏾
ОтветитьIs it loud stock ? I dont want it loud 😂
ОтветитьWhat a stupid question!
You advice people to buy all of these European trash(land Rover,BMW, Audi, jaguatr, fiat, etc) but not real quality cars(Lexus, Toyota,Acura,Honda)
I got 250 2009 reg 58 plate for about 6500 but 61 k miles hope is not clocked except the murder fuel and road tax is a tank ..Still having doubts if I should keep it but there is nothing better under 10 k except infinity Q50 but is extra 4 grand hard to justify I am not doing lots of miles ..
ОтветитьI’m looking for a Silver SE-L. Anyone have a nice example for sale in the UK?
ОтветитьSo you are saying this is a very good, comfortable, good sounding, good looking, well made car, but underpowered. For what? The car is perfect for those who want to maximize the driving experience while obeying the law. If you want more than that look elsewhere. To those with average intelligence this is not needed to be said but it can be said in five seconds for people like you, yet you made nearly ten minutes video for it.
Be mindful not to waste people’s time. Try to be more specific about who is your target audience is and try to provide information that is useful to them. Try that by saying who should be buying this car instead who should not. You failed to do this because you failed to understand that people seek information to see if the item is what it is that they are looking for. Know that productive people don’t have time to look for things they don’t want. Know that you are doing great disservice telling those who is potentially perfectly happy with this car with wrong information.
I’ll let you in on a secret. Our success depends on our ability to focus on what we want. I say this here because I’m sure you end your life not understanding this. Good luck.
your speach just bored me to death
ОтветитьNice review. Thanks for listing the pros and the cons.
ОтветитьIs or gs?
ОтветитьI need someone’s opinion I’m debating whether I should get a 2006 Lexus IS250 in 2022 carfax has 3 owners and 2 failed safety inspections? Someone help ?
ОтветитьI had a 57 reg, not a massive fan. Found the acceleration very wooden, problem with the gearbox too. had a couple 3 series since much better cars in my opinion, no comparison in how they drive
ОтветитьVvti isn't an issue. Just annoying rattle but doesn't harm the engine. It likes frequent oil changes though to prevent it.
ОтветитьWhat about the carbon build up because it is direct injection??
ОтветитьLove the car reviewer. Lol
What's the difference between Ls 400/430 to iS models
I’ve heard the 2.2 diesel ones are really bad news. Is that true?
ОтветитьYou sound soo bored in this video lol
ОтветитьBut not that sound
ОтветитьAnd some noise
ОтветитьI have Lexus is 250 2007 when catch break it shark
ОтветитьHi bro
ОтветитьJust bought a 55 plate manual 250 on 86k Miles it drives brilliantly, looks cool and has a custom centre section exhaust, so when driving normal is still nice and quiet but when you give it a rev it sounds awesome. Coming from a modified civic typeR it does feel slow but I'm not really bottherd I just fancy a well built comfty cruiser for a while
ОтветитьA used Lexus IS 250 from 2006 to 2010 is a great car with plenty enough power for me. The gear shift paddles are really worthwhile having as they give a greater degree of control over your rpm at any given speed, where the auto might tend to lug a little before changing down. Have found the cost of ownership to be much lower than Audi, Mercedes or BMW - servicing or repair of these is ridiculously expensive. The Euro luxury sport sedan cars from 2002 on are trash now and not worth having, most are driving around with a xmas tree of alert lights glowing on the instrument panel. A Lexus is just way superior in terms of ride, reliability and cost of ownership. A late model Mustang or Corvette would be my alternate choice, if I wanted to change.
