Africamp Experiences - Mount Kenya - Summit day

Final ascent on Mount Kenya using the Naro Moru route from Mackinders Camp to Point Lenana at 4985m. The group get up in the early hours in the dark and head up the scree slopes to the rocky summit to watch dawn spill over the Kenyan plains far below. Here the students express their feelings at having summited together and reached the second highest point in Africa.
