Do you recommend any diagnostic tests to see which is the best fit, SAT or ACT?
ОтветитьThey do in fact test imaginary numbers on the digital SAT. There may not be more than 1 or 2, but they will be there. I teach PSAT and SAT prep on Outschool and I learned everything I know from an expert on the paper version that studied it for years. And that helped me translate to the new format. In fact, the first 4 practice tests have imaginary numbers on there. There are a lot of good tips you have, but you may want to really be sure of what you are saying.
ОтветитьWhere im from you hv to do math in pen lmfao cuz anything in pencil is considered as roughwork and you dont get marks for it
ОтветитьThis is great info so early in the digital SAT game!
Ответитьhey quick question...Superscore is not possible after the second attempt in the SAT correct? What if your first attempt was paper based and the next two are digital, can I superscore it?
ОтветитьThanks for the tips
ОтветитьThank uuuu so very much am so happy I have found ur channel .my exam is in march please do more vids it’s helping us a lot we’re so grateful for u❤
ОтветитьDo colleges want to see students taking 3 or fewer digital SAT tests, just like the paper form SAT? BTW, I really like your videos and look forward to your new APP.
ОтветитьThe ACT isn't done where I live when I go on the website nothing comes up for me
Ответитьok I'm confused about getting 2nd section harder like are you saying that if we perform well on English module 1 then we'll get 2nd module harder or if we perform well on both module of English then we'll get harder test for Math?
ОтветитьCan't I use my Apple Pencil?
ОтветитьMath material from the old days will definitely work but I wouldn't use ANY of the prep material from the old English section. It's completely different now with the one-paragraph-one-question style, and using old material just won't build the same skills or teach you the strategies you need.
I disagree with the "hide the timer" bit. It's extremely important in this test (and the old one) to make sure you don't waste time on a single question. If you're not glancing at the timer to check how long you're taking, you could easily sit there and stare at a question for far too long. If you can't handle a timer in front of you, you probably aren't ready for the SAT.
The rest of this is really just common sense. Definitely agree that you should bring your calculator and your own device.
I think you are a pretty good teacher and person....... Hats off
ОтветитьAfter two mins I left your video. I really wanted to listen to what you had to say. But, that POP POP POP POP every time a window popped up was just too damn annoying
ОтветитьIs Casio 991-ex calculator allowed or not?

ОтветитьWho here does your math work in pen?? 🤔
ОтветитьPlease do make more videos for the digital SAT like this one! like how the algorithm works for maths ! Since most of us are confused with this new version and videos such as this one helps!
ОтветитьLaura, thanks for the informative videos. Can you upload the practice set answers of bluebook with explanations? It will be a great help.
ОтветитьJust wanted to comment on here and thank you for your help… I got a 1550 on the December sat which I never thought I could do, but apparently I could thanks to your videos
ОтветитьSighs...
ОтветитьHappy new year and thank you for your work, it is much appreciated. Could you please develop an algorithm for the digital SAT math section? thanks
ОтветитьHappy new year guys !!! Hope everyone gets their desired scores 🙌
ОтветитьThe vocab questions on the digital SAT seem way easier than the pre-2016 SAT. Haven't seen words like pulchritude, propinquity, moribund, paean, variegated and such on the practice tests.
ОтветитьThanks for the info
