This is a great build but I cant stick around.

I love it when professionals fix West Coast Choppers builds.
Nothing against LTT, but they have an entertainment schedule and things won't always go perfectly. They did a great job.

LTT failed so hard on that build 😂. I can't believe they sent out something like that with their reputation attached to it, and everyone is so whimsical about it because it was Linus lol. It is hot garbage, they sent a bad loop, and even managed to not secure the gpu properly or remove it for shipping 😅.

Tubing that was too mouldy to keep, pump replaced, yet you kept the radiator? It would be helpful to explain how the radiator was flushed.

From my personal experience with coolant mould I learned (wasn't tea, just distilled water):
NEVER skip adding a few drops of biocide if using distiller water. Even when just topping off after a few months of evaporation.
or ALWAYS use ONLY premixed coolant that includes anti-corrosion and biocide. Top off with same premixed coolant that hasn't expired.
Filling with warm vinegar, let set about an hour, then flush hot tap water 3 times, then flush once with room temp distilled water DIDN'T work. Replacing the radiator was required.

Mould is microscopic and tenacious. Once present it is extremely difficult to eliminate. Take preventative steps seriously. Or be repaired for consequences like part replacement. I certainly hope for the best for The Spiffing Brit and don't doubt Overclockers UK did a fine job with cleanup. I'd be interested in a 6 month follow up. Temps still low, no change indicating possible flow restriction? The coolant dye will make seeing mould difficult.

Why is water used if it is problematic? Waterless coolants exist and wouldn't need flushing.
