Word to the wise, be careful of invoking forces that can't be tolerated by your constitution. These things were kept hidden for a reason. An example being the parable of the wineskins in the Bible. And also Crowley with his attempt at the abremalin ritual. Afterwards which his life was a chaotic mess. In this respect, the occult sciences are dangerous to dabble in.

I am not sure that the inscription in Kingford's book is enough evidence to tag her for the identity. It's compelling info, but she WAS in the order of the supposed S.D.A, so there could be some reason for the inscription we don't know about.

The presentation, information and aesthetic were really top notch here. Most of these documentaries are over sensationalized and trying too hard to increase shock value through unverified rumor or lore. You found a nice pace and delivery system that works well! Cheers m8!

I respect those that understand magic and refuse to use it. The practice of magic breeds hedonism. When you can easily do things for yourself you get intoxicated by your desires as you can always easily fullfill them.

The idea of true will as aliester crowley speaks of is flawed because the idea of morality is stripped entirely from it. Having no morality leads to animalistic tendencies. It should not be called true will, it should be called primal will.

Also when a group claims to guard secrets but has a strong drive to push their doctrine into society expect them to have no secrets at all.

What i see is bunch of educated mentally ill people coming together and inflating each other's ideas. This is the curse of being intelligent; there will come a time were you overestimate through your confidence in what you have studied alot. Crowley is a prime example of that as he performed the wrong translation of a abramelin ritual.

And that my friend is the history of government in a nutshell lol. Just a bunch of smart mentally ill people lacking discipline over their own desires which always leads to their downfall.

Today we have the same issue only that they now think they are clever by intentionally instigating their own downfall believing they can also be on the other side of that downfall to reinvent themselves from the process taking place.

This is what you call overestimating your intelligence. If you have no control of that you have no control of you.

This was the most complete documentary I've seen on The Golden Dawn. Love that all credit doesn't go to Crowley! All other documentaries inflate his influence.

always fun to remember they were all hard drug users wrt "visions", cocaine, opium and hashish probably helped delusions of grandeur, on top of booze, history and texts to "inspire" delusions, however they cracked manifestation and much power, wonder how many crimes the coroner buried as natural causes for club.
