I have a burning pain in my shoulder for the last 6 years and before anti inflammatory medication which made med my ick I received nothing. No clear explanation why and what up go. Twice a year I am having extremely expensive pain management o try procedures which help for may be 3 week at the most.

ОтветитьAs someone whose suffered with this for a long time, I’ve found once the pain goes away working on external movements (rotator cuff) and pull ups (sorted with assisted pull ups) have fixed this and now I’ve been pain free and feeling strong for 2 years now 👍

I have done your exercises I have also applied hot and cold pads. When I do the exercises I have pain guess it will take a while for pain to go away. Have a lot of pain at night on my shoulder any other suggestions.
My left shoulder have a fracture can i try this but im undergo therapy

ОтветитьFunny how subtle differences to an exercise help. I’ve been doing the uppercut motion with emphasising on controlling the driving movement with my elbow but keeping my palm parallel - I found this helped with my teris minor and around that area. I’ve also have the problem at the front as you describe and the twist into the uppercut really works well, thank you!

ОтветитьI think these exercises are reasonable to start with. I’m only on my 3rd day in rehab I think they make me do so many exercises in one day that all it does is irritate my bursitis and tendons even more. I’m gonna stop going, do this at home and move up gradually. Thank you.

ОтветитьI have a rotator cuff tear, tendinitis and mild osteoarthritis in my shoulder. Consequently, my arm hurts from the shoulder to my hand. I do physio. No change after several months. Although I have always been one to do weights on a regular basis most of my life, now I can hardly lift 5 lbs.
My question for rambling is, are cortisone shots helpful. Do these types of injuries eventually heal on their own with consistent exercises which are appropriate of course? Thank You!

ОтветитьMy shoulder hurts when I'm sleeping on it. I try not to sleep on it and my hand gets numb while sleeping. And during the day I have a slight feeling of numbness on my shoulder. However, it hurts when I'm reaching, pulling, or pushing. Would these exercises help?

ОтветитьDuring the day I am functioning but, at night it is the worse. The pain when in bed is excruciating. Both sides equally. I also can not raise either arm off the bed which feels almost like there is no brain to muscle connection. I have been doing these and a few other PT shoulder exercises not knowing exactly what is going on. Only for less than a week now but, I am getting more ROM and some strength back. What you describe in this video seems to fit. This started for me out of the blue about a month ago. First symptom was waking up to extremally sore upper arms. I had done nothing new to warrant them. Love to hear your thoughts.
ОтветитьWent to the orthopedic doctor today and told him I have mild arthritis and a small effusion. Thought he was going to drain the infusion and then give me Cortizone but he only gave me Cortizone and prescribed PT. Going to call the office back tomorrow and ask if he planned on doing anything about the infusion. Not sure if he was listening to me or even read the report/MRI of my shoulder
