Beach bonfires, smores, family & friends.

This video is part of our "home movie" series as we document our families life on boat. Youtube is a great way for us to store our experiences and share them with friends and family across the world, and for the kids to easily access them in years to come when they are off doing their own thing.

In this short we clip, recorded in early 2023, we have good friends join us on the boat for a trip into the Kenepuru Sounds, which always includes several campfires in the evenings. There is truly nothing better than a fire on the beach with friends, especially if you don't get to do it often. We do it all of the time as it is a great excuse to get off the boat for an afternoon, and as such, we have now got "hidden" firewood stashes in the forest edge at our favourite beach fire places. It makes life a whole lot easier having dry wood!
