Thank you for the video! I'd heard of GW2, but never considered it as an option. I'll give it a go!

Not gonna lie it was like i watching someone that has no experience on mmo's, LOTR you can later farm yourself a membership for what im aware and its a csual game,
New world 40$ grind fest with nothing in it beside grind levels and nonsense systems only the newest update brought content and its payed,
if you gonna invest time on guild wars just go directly to GW2 its very casual game and you can get expansion ingame just by farming coins,
runescape its a good casual game but you later on see you limited and needs membership,
Wow depends on how you see it can be seen has casual or not the most expensive on around which makes no sense,
albion online casual game but lack content and needs better combat but limited due to mobiles being their priority,
ESO really casual game cause its meant to be played like its a single player game but the only problem it has its reaching max level that can take months if you dont use the exp scrolls aside of that con the rest of the game is pretty damn good and dont need expansion to expirience the game.

i think you hit on what bothered me about ff14, it builds out instead of up too much. i didn't see a lot of people while i was playing because most people were either above or below me. when i was playing a healer i had the best experience ever by being able to heal wandering players, but that only happened organically like twice, the rest of the time i was almost always either on my own or in an instanced dungeon with a group finder group.

I can think of a few negative things about new world that drive me nuts, no elemental seconrary effects like freeze, burn, poison dot from elemental gem slotting. What is the point in putting these in? Its boring your weapon glows fire bur doesn't burn anything.

The other is the lack of magic weapons and how the devs love melee type of gameplay so all because they work there anyone who doesn't love melrr has to suffer. Maybe this is changing but as of Right now its bs. And allot of weapon animations are boring and medicore.

So by your definition I’m not a casual at all. Well I’m certainly not hardcore enough to be hardcore. So what am I?

i guess you just described a guy who actually does not want to play a MMORPG, they should play a single player.

hard-core players are either teens (who are more like children with much knowledge, and even more time at their disposal) OR no-lives who live under their mommy's roof and, even though they may have a job, well... real world offers them very little in terms of entertainment.

That said, I do agree with you on what a casual player seeks.

GW2 is the most chill and has a great community, however like ESO and New Word the combat stinks, fluid? Like WHAT... BDO has fluid combat not those games, problem is beyond it's CMs the game's community is pretty trash, the MSQ is spam R and the graphics which could be great if there wasn't popins everywhere.

I've lost count of the mmo's I've played in the last 21 years and of the ones mentioned, only Albion that I haven't given a chance to. WoW since 2006 (back and forth), GW2 since launch, New World since launch, and so on. GW2 is an anomaly (a good one) among MMO's and is the best today without a doubt. New World started out half-baked and is now a great game. There are a lot of options for casual players but with that "feeling" you mention, I completely agree with you.

Great video.

I'm not buying New World by Amazon if I have to buy a dlc as well. Same with GW2 and Ark Survival. I only want to pay once. Tired buying dlc's to keep up with everyone only to have devs ignore my input. We need more world bosses. Less stories. More base building. Dungeons with no kicking policy. More pets. More pet activities. No one listens to me. Stories in every game except Skyrim are BORING.

Guild Wars 1 is a fantastic game, but it’s not an MMO, it’s an Online RPG. Great video.
