Flightscope MEVO Review - The Golf Launch Monitor For You?

Hey Mark! Did you try the Titleist RCT balls with the MEVO?

Is there any way the software can be added so that it works for speed training. This is what I need 1 for because im going to start doing some over the winter. So that said Mark, what other device would you recommend I look for?

Am eager to buy a monitor and confused which one to buy Mevo or Garmin R10

How can it measure height, when hitting in a simulator when it's not sensing a ball up in the air? The charging port is called Micro USB, not just USB. It should have USB C instead. There are many different types of USB.

Good review mark. I got one of these a few years ago on eBay for a bargain. I'm surprised that this is now on relaunch as it is quite old ...

I have had one for a few years.Realy good and surprisingly accurate.I did experience an issue with lighting however soon as i changed lighting it was a game changer.

My local golf range has installed Inrange in every bay, which has been a game changer. The other range closest to me has Trackman in every bay. The world of practice has changed so much. It's only a year or two that I was thinking that I had to have one of these but the use case for this has really diminished if the location that you practice already has monitors.

I have had one for a few years now. It's a decent unit for the price point. FYI, It has gone on sale in the past for nearly 30% off.

Should compare the mevo plus

Want it for stack. So its not for me.

Great review Mark! The honesty is appreciated with regard to the different devices in the family and the lack of USB-C is totally spot on. I think the important thing is that there’s consistent data capture with devices like these since there’s no way any one device is completely perfect yet… however, if I know how I’m progressing after a series of sessions and practice over time then I’d be pretty happy.

It is an old design hence old USB connection. It also has the flaw that I see all too often with budget launch monitors - connecting via wifi there is no excuse for that, it should be bluetooth. I also completely agree with Mark that it should allow you to use it for speed training without the ball

I feel this is the perfect "budget" launch monitor for use at your local club practice ground. Maybe, given how old the design is, it is a tad over priced.

What is the max club head speed it will read?

Do we know how it performs outdoors into a net?

Does it normalise ball data, if I’m using it at the range with crap range balls?

Will it work well at night on the range?

Mevo is on my xmas list along with Garmin R10 - but which one should i go for ? Sleepless nights ahead 😂
