I have a BMW M5 which, I keep well maintained; however, I did not have the chance to wax/polish it this year. I have a question, if I have light swirl marks, can I use the EZ Cream Glaze instead of polishing OR do you recommend polishing?

If you're borderline OCD, you need to start detailing. Takes me at minimum 5 hrs, but a few beers and good music, some nicotine and I'm all set. The prize is ever so rewarding. Figured I'd learn as one of my cars was ruined from auto washes and Florida sun and I never waxed or sealed, relying on the most expensive auto wash to protect my baby. Big mistake. So I learned my lesson and started detailing my newer vehicles myself. Turns out I enjoy doing it and looking to start a side gig.

Fuckin finally. Got a new car and all these car pros just list a shitton of products but not the order in which to use them or which were best to use. So I chose one brand (Chemical) since it had pretty decent reviews and hoped they had how to guides. This is the first detailing video Ive seen where they give a clear flow as to which products to use and when. You dont know how life saving this is. I stood in the autozone car wash section for half an hour not knowing what to buy.

Can you polish by hand since I have never used a machine? Do you use all those polishes or just pick one? Thx

Hello, question. So with the ceramic hydro slick and charge you wait 3 hours after each application to move to the next step than comes glaze sealant and wax. In this step I glaze wait 15 mins than buff than I can apply the the sealant. In between each of these steps I only need to wait 15 mins than buff than apply the next product? And at the end wait 15 mins to apply the detail?

Is it completely unrecommended to use a rotary tool to apply the ceramic coating?

I have a brand new vehicle with no scratches at all. Can I still clay bar and polish if soo what polish should I use

My only complaint here is not explaining the washing side of things; like foam, pre wash, main wash, wheels & decontamination etc.

Aside from that, this was extremely helpful

I like the detailed explanations for each product but I also think you guys would benefit by doing a quick 2 or 3 minute video as well.

After clay bar can you go straight to applying sealants or waxes if unable to polish??

So the glaze will help after ceramic for scratches?

If you had only 1 or 2 sections in the car with big scratches. Can you hit those spots with a heavy duty pad and polish. Then do the rest of the car with something not as heavy duty?

- Hybrid V07 Select High Gloss Spray & Quick Detail Spray
- Black Light Hybrid Glaze & Sealant
2. 2 Buckets with the grates
3. Light clay bar
4. Luber Spray
5. Dual action / random orbital buffer

That seems to be it I think. I'll be able to wash, clay bar, seal, wax, and detail the vehicle?

I use C4 and P4 as well as V32 thru V38. Where would you place C4 and P4 as it pertains to the V lineup? I would think V32-C4-V34-V36-P4-V38?

What if you skip Hydro charge and move straight to Hydroslick?

i am confused. do you use all of the v polishes or choose the one that suits the condition of the paint?

If I were to use a professional ceramic such as Carbon Force, would I still glaze, sealant, and quick detail afterwards?

Hey Chemical Guys, appreciate the helpful video! Question. So, with my budget I recently purchased a Torq polisher as well as your P4 and C4 polishes, and your Wet Mirror Glaze. My plan is as follows: Soap down the car, hit it with a clay bar, polish it up with the P4 and C4 polishes and then finally finish off the car with the Wet Mirror Glaze. Is this a correct order and are there any other steps/products that I am forgetting? Thanks in advance!
