Harstum changeling games are paying off.

I think Archon mode would be a nice way to train weaker aspects of the game. For example, if you are good at micro, you can partner with someone who is good at macro, and both of you can switch places to focus on your weakest areas. This way, you can concentrate on improving the part of the game you are less proficient with.

Archon matches are my favourite to watch but there are so few of them!

Can you phoenix lift an scv while it’s building something? Would that pause the building timer?

I only found out about Archon Mode when Carbot made a video about it when it released. I myself have never played that particular game mode.

I would like to see more Pro-Archon mode matches.

Everyone here is going to call me a liar, but I'm the one who recommended Archon-Mode to Blizzard.

Instead of calling it "Micro\Macro" which is what this mode was called in Starcraft 1, they came up with a cheeky name like "Archon Mode" which is not exactly self-explanatory.

You always say mutalisks take up too much apm unless you are crazy good... Feels like zerg would play very well in archon mode. One person on mutas and the other(s) on everything else.

Don't play a lot of starcraft, though I would love to play archon, issue being I have no-one to play it with and there's nobody in queues

Archon mode makes it to more of what I’d consider an ideal rts. There’s too much to focus on in sc for me

I used to play the heck out of archon mode with my friends back when it was popular it was so fun we'd divide the macro and micro but it would definitely get chaotic very fast lol

Me and my close friend work really well together in games and especially archon mode but we’re both pretty bad at SC so it’s not amazing but it’s fun working together with a life long friend to give him 20 phoenixes and watch him piss off some diamonds

Talking about pros playing arcade games reminded me of that time I ran into Reynor on a random Marine Arena lobby. The hardcore Marine Arena players in the lobby didn't know who he was and got very upset with their teammates when Reynor singlehandedly wiped the floor with them. Thankfully I was on his team and just gave him moral support.

It's True there are barely any players!
I even made Grandmaster in the NA League with my friend.... and trust me, I'm not grandmaster material!

when i was first introduced to starcraft 2 and helped by my friend who played the game for like 5-7 years, he thought it might be a funni idea to play archon mode and then we try to defeat high level AI in it
back then i didnt know how to F2 or know most units in the game, i was in my first few hours into the game still playing zero hour xd

Battlecrusers have a lot of micro potential in archon mode, too bad they just got it killed immediately.

For the pro, they need to make Archon mode 400 units cap with 2x mineral/gas.

Yeah, I've heard of it, but never played it. I've been aware that it's been out for like 3 years, right?

This was just a long series of "cheese is not very good if your opponent has like 600apm pretty easily"
