Love it! 'Where did you learn?'!!!!

I learnt more from this than any other tango video! I danced with a girl who was on the rowing team for several years of an all girls catholic school. The first time we danced she asked me to dance as it was a practice class and told me that she was hardly ever asked to dance. She was a stunningly beautiful looking girl and had incredibly strong shoulders and calloused hands. She tried to relax but then got more tense as she thought she was making mistakes as we danced. The only way she could stop getting tense and stop crushing me was to copy my breathing. It took a while but other guys started asking her to dance.

For #6, you forgot the guy that will do "quebradas" or breaks while in the ronda even though one shouldn't.

So usefull, so funny, so dense, and so rich 12 minutes. Thank you! I'm waiting for more!!

This is the funniest video of worst lead dancers….I saw myself doing some of the horrible habits in my early years of learning the dance. That knowledge came with a lot of pain and stress.

That was funny 👍 I have seen them all on the dance floor and even more. There is always someone that is not even a good dancer but he is happy to give unsolicited advise 🙄 The one I don't completely agree is 5. Creativity suppressor as a follower you have to follow and it is hard to lead when she is moving on her own. I have danced with ladies who actually held me down so they can do an adornment. I wait for them and they do something that doesn't go with the music, timing, feeling of the song but it is the adornment they know and they want to do it 🤦

Feeling so much secondhand embarassment!

Yeah some leaders are really creepy. I had one who was touching my back way too high simply because he wanted to feel my skin. The top of my back was not covered so he constantly had his hand there and he was also pulling me extremely close against his body

I definitely do not dance like any of those shown. With only 4 years experience, I still am working on the basics attempting to make minimal amount of mistakes with whoever I am dancing with. Dancing is not natural for me, and at times, I have to concentrate 110% on what I am doing do she can read my Tango dancing messages on the dance floor. Quite a few times I am chasing and reacting to her dance movements.

well I guess I'll make all that mistakes from time tot time and may be dominating the Dancefloor is the mistake I make the most.
Not as obvious as showed but never the less I'll do.
Main reason for that is loosing patience when without reason some leaders are standing having Space in front and don't move forwards, suppressing by that way my possibilities to express the music I'm hearing.

Floor dominators. I was in a crowded milonga, really crowded. There was this one leader who insisted upon pushing thru the crowd, making a wide swath, not caring who was in the way.. And whenever there is a collision, your follower often doesn't see it coming, and even might think you are the cause of the problem.

Followers, as well as leader, just want to have a good time. Take out complexity and ego and just enjoy. If a leader gets told after the tanda that the follower closed the eyes and felt that she/he was on vacation, something has apparently worked out. Wonderful clip which can't be topp'ed
