Chod Rigs with Danny Fairbrass

Tjs la même histoire depuis 15 ans avec les premiéres vidéos de l'étang de l'abbaye prés de compiegne... Des plans d'eaux gavés de carpes à 1tone l'hectare et nourrit toute l'année pour atteindre des poids records ! Qui plus est...des spots entretenus des semaines à l'avance pour faire des vidéos. C'est marrant on les vois jamais faire des vidéos dans des plans d'eau sauvage... tjs du privé. De l''entrée gratuite avec un un coup de pub au passage.... Arréter de nous prendre pour des naifs..

So did I here Danny say he's happy to use lead core on other people's lakes but not his own?🤔

Very well made vid and a good introduction to chod fishing but you guys always find a way to put the goo in the vids.

Tried the Chod for the first time this weekend and managed to totally balls it up. Talking to the water bailiff (who is really friendly and offered us loads of advice) we discover everyone else is catching Carp left, right and center to the point they've lost count but in 36 hours on the bank all we caught was one solitary passing, barely double figure mirror. Looking at this video I can see why now.. I didn't have my hooklink free running like the first rig Danny shows in this video. I had mine set at a fixed distance from the lead on the leader helicopter style which must have been pulling everything below the weeds instead of settling out after the lead hits bottom. I totally blame my own inexperience with bottom rigs due to the fact that I mainly surface and float fish for carp... That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it LOL. Had a great weekend though none the less and it was my very first night fish too. Will definitely be going back to do it again :)
