Anyone who know chinese culture and chinese people knows that cognitive dissonance is very prevalent in the chinese psyche. When people try to explain china, they often do so using a western lens where rationality, fairness, justice, rule of law and respect for human rights and authorities are the norm. The chinese, as I have known them personally, will not think twice to lie and distort the truth in order to gain the upper hand and take advantage of others. For them, its not morally wrong, but a way of life. If may be wrong based on western principles of morality, but not so with the chinese.

Just remember that China is a godless, atheistic country where love of money, wealth and immense greed are the only guiding principles. Western countries (while they may be atheistic) have built their constitutions and laws based on Biblical and humanistic principles. So do not be surprised why China does this. Distorting the truth (aka lying and deceit) is a weapon they will wield without the burden of conscience.

Back then their Coast Guard was only 12 NM from the coast of China But now their CCG has arrived in the Philippines which shouldn't have.

Like the WPS, China has no right to interfere with the WPS under the Philippines and especially they have no right to seize it. They want the US not to interfere in the seizure and claim of the thing that China is trying to seize in order to speed up their conquest without the US. China claims that the US is not involved in the WPS conflict, but even more so, China has no place to seize that is not theirs.
