That SD card slot really turns me off. It's not for "updates", it's so Miller can sell you an expensive machine THEN charge you even more later on for fancy extra features. Even if it were for updates, that would just imply that Miller doesn't properly design their products before sending them out to customers. No thanks.

4 grand cdn for a tig welder? For a first welder?? For a hobbyist??? Wtf is going to spend 4 grand on their first welder if they're not even getting into it as a trade?? Yoh would have to be an absolute moron to spend that kind of money on your first tig.
That is a ridiculous sum of money for a tig welder just for starters. You can get a decent tig welder for well under 2 grand and, if you're just starting out with tig, one can be had for under $600 that would be perfectly suitable for a beginner hobbyist welder.
Miller is a joke. Not even top of the line and trying to throw super high priced welders at beginners like there isn't a choice.

Curious, few questions on electrodes and wire spools. I am wondering what types of material metal these electrodes and wire spools are made out of. Are they all just copper , AL , and steel/iron alloy grades. I am wondering if you can get tungsten wire spools for a mig machine? I get the numbers on the electrodes and wire spools tells you how much strength the weld will be but never consider what welding metals its made out of for mig , tig , and arc machines. I imagine you need steel to weld steel and copper to weld copper ,...etc but i like to know what you can find in welding supply stores for variate is it even possible to uses titanium , tungstun ,...etc how common in industry to uses ( like how common is it to weld on titanum , tungsten , nickel , platinum ..) , price differences ...etc Thanks for any help on that one.

Good information but the music audio took away from the video pretty badly. Had to struggle to hear voice over blaring music. Had to find another video because this sounded so bad. Music is a terrible idea at all for a video like this.

The vulcan welders are shitting all over these millers and they are 1/8 the price!!

My 180 Diversion broke in less than 6 months. Took 11 days to get fixed under warranty. No support from the local dealer, no loaner machine available, no concern for lost business. Another dealer in the area said they would have done the same thing. At least Harbor Freight would have given me a new machine the same day. This experience has me rethinking some things.

Or... start looking at quality Chinese manufactured units. The Miller is a quality Chinese component Tig (all of them) that is assembled here in the States. Good stuff, just over priced. A dynasty 210 is $5000 for just the poer sorce.
Time to look at the SUA IonTig 200 AC DC Pulse, AHP Alpha Tig, and Everlast 210 EXT.
