Out for Personal Reasons can be VERY SERIOUS.
Nice to see y'all laughing about an athlete having a DEATH on the family and the many self life adversities humans go through.

I think the only problem I have is that these 40 overalls also have bad potential so they never improve. it would have been good to see how their situations make them better or worse. Also some height variations would've helped

This was incredibly amusing, hilarious and troubling from the game taking matters into its own hands at times

That line at the start about what this is truly about is so powerful, I still think about it often. “This isn’t exactly an experiment, because experiments have a point. This is a vacation to hell.”

Wow as someone who never played a shred of Madden or 2K in his life.. this is the best self-induced, Stockholm-syndrome simulation I’ve ever seen 👌🏻 it’s also technically the only one I’ve seen.. but 10/10 on running simultaneous simulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💯🏀📠⚖️✨

Ok, great video! But i almost can't believe that you didn't completely start over when you found out about the influx of xbox-created characters. It really tainted what you were trying to do here.

Kurt Ryan at a 40 rating is eerily similar to real life Matt Ryan. This simulation was a little too good

In September 2019, Kofie signs off a 47-minute video by saying "Thank you for watching this super long video." In September 2023, Jon and Alex release a 99-minute video (Minnesota Vikings episode 6) and it'd nbd.

I love how longform content has taken hold. I'm glad so many of my fellow viewers seem to love it, too.

I think my favorite part about this video is how the fuckup with the 2K created players ended up being more interesting that just seeing what the 40 overalls could do, specifically with how the game handled the extraordinary circumstances heaped onto it. The 76ers being the absolute best while the Warriors quickly rotted away into 0-win seasons, based solely on their alphabetical order, is hilarious.

The reason for the old-time names is because they have a very simple naming algorithm for randomly generated players. They just take a list of every in-game player’s first name and last name and randomly assign one of each to each created player. Since there are so many historical teams in the game, a lot of old names tend to pop up

Russ Meyers is one of the horrible draftees. He doesn't last long in the NBA; his real love is movies. Terrible, poorly acted, violent movies with a lot of nudity and sex.
