I didn't watch the stream and never have, so I don't know if this is just something he normally does, but even the way he's cuddling his dog comes off as manipulative to me. "Aww, big man snuggling little baby doggy, look how sensitive and vulnerable he is! He's a caring protector! And just look how bummed out about all of his he is, guys!"

Context: 2 most recent Completionist videos have hundreds of thousands of views in just a few days, thousands of comments and channel still has over 1.5M subs.
Would you be a 'creator' that is concerned with that? This video and channel is not accomplishing that.
Especially considering dislikes aren't seen without add-on or plugins.
Even the haters are adding a view and a comment to his video for the algorithm! Oh and videos like this are giving him publicity.

Honestly, here's my take.

Yes, I am a subscriber of his (leave the hate at the door, I don't care). I like his content and how his stuff is structured. I don't know him personally, but I like his work. CEOs of countless charities bring home multi-million dollar salaries. You can hate Jirard for this and that's fine, but there's much worse going on elsewhere. I myself wasn't effected by it: I donated some money to his cause, so as far as I'm concerned he could do as he pleased with it since I outright gave it to him. Say what you will about that, but I challenge someone to find out what some executives make in various non-profits. If you've never looked at that before, it can be staggering.

Do you think "What's your favorite video game villain? I'm quite partial to Wario myself. And if he does not count, Popple is up there" would be quickly moderated on his stream?
