As per Galpin equation, a person weighing 90 kg should drink 180 ml every 15 minutes which makes it to nearly 9 Litres of water in a 12 hour window of being awake. This is overhydration.
What am I missing here?
I pee crystal clear water just by drinking 2 liters of it over 6 hours and sometimes feel nauseated due to low sugar and salt if I am fasting too.
thanks!!!
ОтветитьDr Galpin’s ability to explain complex concepts demonstrates his deep understanding. Awesome.
ОтветитьI can proudly say that I've listened to every second of these six long and rich episodes. I chucked my music playlist and plugged in these podcasts. It took me a few weeks but quite a hell of a journey.
Id like to thank Andrew for graciously hosting - your passion for this area shows and Andy for patiently sharing your valuable knowledge.
This podcast series is now my bible for anything related to fitness. Like Andy said, Id use it as a guidance.
It was quite exhaustive and I'm now hunting for podcast notes that capture the nuggets of wisdom.
Thanks to you guys, I've changed my whole work out program of years to include the various adaptations, improve my nutrition and sleep, chuck out a few supplements that I used to snack on.
Again, great job fellas! You guys have made something of huge value here.
I have heard that training while hot also increases mitochondrial density, any truth to this?
ОтветитьDon't nobody care what these doctors think or like....thanks sir for this life saving info
ОтветитьHey guys can you maybe tell me if creatine and glutamine can be supplemented permamently? Or do you need to take breaks from it? Thank you
ОтветитьIs there any possibility to increase height after 25
ОтветитьGood day, I really liked this series and all your podcasts in general, I always hear to post in the comments about futur guests but I never did because I listen on Spotify. I’m taking the time to do so now because I would find really find it really interesting if you had a conversation with Naudi Aguilar founder of Functional Patterns. I’ve been following and doing some of his work outs for a few years now and would find it interesting to hear what his take on hypertrophy training is. If you do a bit of re search you will see that he’s “against” those movements and types of training ( squats, deadlifts, CrossFit, yoga and so on) because he focuses on the biomechanics behind the human body and how it’s was original designed to work so most of his exercise derive from basic movements like throwing, running, posture and going through our gait cycle. I’m no expert in the field so don’t quote me on all this but I just think it could be an interesting episode. Thanks
ОтветитьCan you take 2x10g Glutamine permamently (and also creatine), or do you need a breaks? Are there enough research on long term using of glutamine, is it safe to kidneys health etc?
ОтветитьWow no wonder there are days I drink coffee and I’m good and others days where I feel like absolute garbage and I get all shaky and weak.
ОтветитьStarted taking creatine monohydrate 6 weeks ago...I'm looking a touch jacked 😂 shit works
Ответить🌐 🆙 🙌 5️⃣ to Andy!!
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьMore commercials please. I feel it’s not enough.
Please up the commercial time to 90% of the video.
I fell asleep 5 hours ago and woke up to this
Ответитьawesome to hear this!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this breakdown!!
ОтветитьLove you guys! I would pay, whatever, to listen to you guys talk with each other, every day!!!
ОтветитьI absolutely hate this guest speaker on this series. Most of his answers to his questions are along the line of “well I know the answer but your audience isn’t fit enough to need to know” like dude the only thing I took away from this is that creatine is safe and effective which most people already knew.
ОтветитьYou spoke about people sensitive to salt and there are some doctors that believe it simply needs to be balanced with potassium and magnesium. Cardiologists do not seem to be versed in body chemistry what do you think?
ОтветитьThank-you for another informative, brilliant, easy to understand podcast. Please keep these going, Prof.Huberman.
ОтветитьAmazing series! So much useful information. Thank you both.
ОтветитьCan you please do an episode on SARM MK-677 Ibutamoren? Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьBro that was the most wholesome ending that made me happy af
ОтветитьI am so very grateful in my background in medicine, physiology, and pathophysiology that I can understand what these two are talking about. Great "podcast", at this point this is more like a intro lecture to an 'Optimal Nutrition & Supplementation for Fitness' class. Ive been processing alot of nutritional info for supplementation as im getting back on the bodybuilding train, and would like to make a custom supplement schedule for my training. Keep up the good work and I love the guests you keep getting on to help further our understanding of specific fields.
ОтветитьGreat interview🔥
ОтветитьLove it 🔥
ОтветитьYou go to your local doctor to pay thousands and then only give you a general advice or general evaluation. Here it's a top notch medical knowledge and it's free!
ОтветитьI feel worse and lack better performance on a feeded state rather than fasted. I have learned by listening to my body to workout couple hours after workout. Digestion too.
Ответитьthis self-promoter charlatan extraordinaire is not a good reflection on Standford. sidenote, they sell third party tested creatine mono via amazon for $30 USD for a kg. is that expensive? these guys are both millionaires no doubt. since when is something that costs about 15 cents a dose "expensive" to American over consumers?
ОтветитьI would have loved to get more details on long endurance supplements. Could you provide some more examples how to best eat so much? I am going once a week for a 4-8 hours bike ride and I really struggle to eat on the bike. I tried energy bars, musli, gels, etc. but its getting hard to eat more then one bar. I did try honey and lime in my water, but after 4hours for sure not enough. Can you for example recommend Maltodextrin? I hear this often, but like to eat healthy and natural. :/
ОтветитьWhat an incredible podcast, what a terrific host and what a beautiful mind dr. Andy Galpin has. I’ve enjoyed this so much. Thank you and greetings from Amsterdam. Saeed.
ОтветитьI'm a caddy in the south. My avg loop is 17k steps/8 miles per rd. I'm dripping with sweat. I loose about 5 lbs of fluids a day and it's everything I can do to stay hydrated when it's over 100 index
Ответить“Better living through chemistry still requires better living,” said Huberman’s physician friend.
