How is it that you can control the camera without any cables connected to the Ronin S?

Can ANYONE tell me how to make the Ronin-S shoot in portrait/up-and-down mode for social media? (And I don't mean selfie mode, where the camera faces back toward you.) I have been trying to troubleshoot, update all the firmware according to DJI Support, and just messing with the settings myself. A Friend of mine simply pushes the M button twice and his works... mine does NOT. So far, the DJI support team hasn't been helpful. I just got this expensive device and cannot even use it. Can anyone help?

When I press the trigger button the camera orientation doesn't lock and when I press and hold the trigger to enter the underslung mode the ronin does not hold steady but starts going nuts.

I am pressing the M button and nothing happens. That was suppose to take me to a sport mode. What am I doing wrong here, anything that needs to be changed in settings? Also Focus and record does not work, I have constant red light flashing near the focus ring. I am using the cable provided with Nikon Z6ii.

if i push the trigger 2 times, the gimbal automaticly to the centre position,,,but move about 5 degree to the left..thats the centre position...thank you
