A smart man knows how to keep her women and her parents both in check. Be there for everyone and give time for everyone. I can relate to the 3rd story.
Unfortunately most Indian mother in laws are like that. Times are changing now, but some still put you down, belittle you, and insult your family. I know exactly what she went through. The only difference is that my husband stood up for me.

Iqbal is a spineless blob and he's culpable for what happened. If you want to take care for your horrible mom, do it yourself or hire a nurse, don't force your wife to do it. He just ignored his wife and it is his fault too. If I were Rajvinder, I would just leave the house with my kids and tell this lame excuse of s husband to call me when mom's back in India

The last guy was a spineless idiot, I feel so sorry for Rajvinder. She put up with it for so long, she just broke. It can happen to anyone that goes through years of abuse. As for the second case, that guy is another idiot - he ignores all the red flags, ignores advice from his mother, he just wanted a beautiful women so he could feel better about himself. Because of his stupidity, his family had to pay the price. The first one is straight up the devil.

In the 3rd story : first of all, there should be a law against neglecting your wife to such a degree that in fact you participate with the abuser, apart from that men like this should only be allowed to marry their own mothers, besides, I wouldn’t be surprised a bit if the mother and son were having a secret incest relationship. One more thing : judges like this who give sentence to victims, should be removed from their positions.
