In Direct ELISA, why cant we just coat the well with enzyme linked Ab itself?

Your videos are helpful, however, in this particular video I could not figure out the difference between indirect and competitive ELISA. In both, we add blood serum and the antigen and antibody interaction occurs. Therefore I think it needs more elaboration. Anyway, Keep your good work up!

o Done in a 96-well microplate
o Adsorption 􀍴 wells are filled with antigen solution and left for some time to
allow adsorption of Ag to the plastic
o Blocking 􀍴 Ag is replaced by a solution of an unrelated protein 􀃆 prevent
non-specific adsorption of next components
o Binding of first antibody
o Washing
o Binding of second enzyme-conjugated antibody
o Washing
o Colour reaction with substrate
o Direct: only one antibody is used
o Indirect: first and second antibodies are used
o Sandwich: antigens bind to a capture antibody, rest is similar to indirect
ELISA

Getting hbsag non reactive from Chemiluminescence immunoassay method.
And getting value of elisa hbsag 0.8 from Roche e411 but issue is that getting value of 1.7 reactive from elisa Abbott Architect machine... Why it is so?? Can you tell me in detail here or personally. Thanks in advance
