Iron Within, originally a fan animation by the name of Codex was bought by Games Workshop two years ago. It is now finally released on Warhammer Plus.
But greedy Games Workshop couldn't help but botch it again.

On one hand, it makes a bit of sense that bolters "cough" like that... like they just need enough propellant to escape the barrel and let the rocket take over. On the other hand, I always imagined them roaring super loud when they fired

These space marines sure have more spikes than I remember.

Is it just me, or does the IW that kills the Guardsman doing the sign of the Aquila tremble slightly in rage before striking him?

Some very cool moments in this, but the bolter sounds are a bit limp, as are the impacts from said rounds; I would have thought, if you land a bolter round on a skinny little space elf, the result should be rather more... explosive. Even if they were armour-piercing rounds, the sheer size of the projectile relative to the average Eldar body would be like a human being hit by an old-fashioned cannon ball.

This is the definition of bolter discipline. One shot, one kill.

For anyone wondering why the guardsmen didn't know these were traitor astartes is cause their world knew nothing about the horus hersey and what happened as astartes were basically myths to the people

The Iron Warriors need a redemption arc! The pause before killing the guardsmen is very telling, like he remembers the days when he was part of humanity.

First time I ever saw these dudes, why do some people ahte them? They're awesome.

Eh, Mass Reactive Bolt didn't paste the Xenos, and it amazing how none of the Dark Eldar warriors had Dark Lance overwatch or Blasters that woudl vape Astartes shield and armour or close air support to blast their clust fuck of a shield wall. Nonetheless, it was mid and not nearly as good as "Astartes'.

The Drukhari selected for raids would have 95% Dodge stats, plus lots of fast grav vehicles covered in shadowfields. But, they are like rabbits here, instead of running circles around the slow Chaos traitors and shooting them in the eyes?

If it was so easy to shoot up the Drukhari, why aren't these Iron Warriors cleaning up Commoragh? I call bullshit.
