Social Media, Misinformation, And The Assassination of Uthman (ra) | Khutbah with Dr. Omar Suleiman

This is a very good khutbah. I had a question regarding Mohammad ibn abu bakr. Is this confirmed he was there? I have family and friends telling me this is not true but I’m trying to do some research and find some primary sources for this narration.

Muhammad bin abi bakr RA was fueled by Uthman bin Affan's relative Marwan - who sent a fake letter to order the killing of Muhammad bin Abi Bakr. Keep in mind Marwan was the same person who the prophet pbuh had banished from medina in his lifetime - so it all comes down to the choices Hazrat Uthman RA made for himself. Theb biggest mistake was calling Marwan back and appointing him as his secretary ... all his governors got hungry for power and fueled this rebellion.

Hz. Othman had a standing army of 40,000 which never intervened to defend him. Why? Did muawiya or any of Omayyad kings ever avenge Hz. Uthman’s murderers during their reigns? Why do people not demand revenge on the murder of Ammar bin Yasir (killed in Sifeen), Hijr bin Uda’i, Abu Zarr Ghafari (exiled to desert till death) and Hz. Muhammad bin Abi Bakr (son of Hz. Abu Bakr) murdered by and sewn in donkey’s skin by muawiya?

However, Moulana Modoodi affirms in his “Khilafat o Malokiat” that the unrest spread because of the caliph’s poor governance, political appointments of incapable people of his own family, extravagant expenditures from government treasury, Bait al Maal, for his own tribe, Banu Ummaya. The third caliph invited Marwan Ibn Hakam, his cousin, back in Madina disregarding Prophet’s command and practices of Hz. Abu Bakr and Umer. Hz. Uthman gifted him the Land of Fadak. The caliph also gave him annual 5 hundred thousand gold coins attained from earnings received from African countries (Abi Al Fida, Vol. 1, p. 236; Tafseer Durr e Mansoor; Sunan Abu Dawood, Vol 3, hadees, 2972; Sharah of Sunan Ibn Dawood, Aun al Ma’bood, by Azeem Abadi, Vol. 7; Fateh Baari BeSharah Sahi Bukhari, Ibn e Hajr Asqalani, Vol. 7).

Cute story 😂 so apparently this uthman is so divine that the prophet came in his dream which anyone could claim if this man was such a righteous ruler why did the community hate him so much then something just doesn’t add up a godly man would never make people the public hate him so much that they had to get rid of him and then in return in this civil war they assassinated ali in his prayer while in sujood when you tell your stories that oh all the Sahaba get along but clearly since the prophet left that hasn’t been the case

The image of that young man running away from Uthman after hearing his reminder and his words makes me weep. Astaghfirallah Allahuakbar. May Allah protect us and our Ummah

👉 Latter the same person muhammad bi Abu Bakr was misteriously assesinated 📌by the propaganda people in a suspicious way 📌 away from his home 📌:: He was a brother of Hazrat Aaisha siddeqa for whom she wept 📌

👉I came to one more conclusion also:: 👉Muhammad bin Abu Bakr was a righteous man 📌 , but even such a person was trapped by misinformation ( propaganda of the liers) and tried to do the worst job of killing Hazrat Usman RTA . But by the mercy of Allah almighty, he listened to the factual advice of hazrat Usman RTA at the 11th hour , conceived the truth after verification 📌 realised his fault,📌 and restrained himself from commiting the greatest sin 📌 and was able to escape from the hell fire 📌

What said in this khutbah is true, we should never take in any information we hear, we must verify. Only people with patience and sound mind will do this, the rest will follow their desires.

DAILY DHIKR TO REMEMBER ALLAH (SWT)

SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One." [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]

2. Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea
[Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071]

Abu Dharr reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Shall I tell you the words that Allah loves the most?" I said: "Yes, tell me, O Messenger of Allah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The words dearest to Allah are: subhanAllah wa bihamdihi”. [ Muslim and at-Tirmidhi.]

3. La Hawla wa la Quwatta illa Billah (There is no Might or Power except with Allah)

[the above is] a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.[Sahih al-Bukhari; al-Fath al-Bari #11:213, Sahih Muslim #4:2076]

4.SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest)

The above are mentioned as the four most beloved words to Allah. It does not matter with which one of them is begun.[Sahih Muslim; #3:1685]

Abu Sa`id (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Perform the enduring goods deeds (al-baaqiyaat al-SaliHaat) more frequently." They asked, "What are these enduring good deeds?" The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) replied: Takbir [Allahu Akbar], Tahlil [la ilaha illallah], Tasbih [Subhan'Allah], alhamdulillah, and la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.
