ОтветитьI’m putting together a Ranboo cosplay, I hope to go to Sakura Con this year and meet some other nerds like me- I’ve been to one con in my whole life and I didn’t cosplay there
ОтветитьLove your videos! I have a MHA panel with a bunch of friends in September and nervous even though it’s a fair bit away
ОтветитьThe only convention I’ve ever been to is a Doctor Who convention. I was like 9? I got to hug an Ewok(idk why an Ewok and wookie were there) and see one of the doctor’s and a dalek!

ОтветитьWent to my first con a few weeks ago and had that same overwhelming feeling, I was shaking so bad my bestie had to hold my hand for a while haha. Im going to another con next month, hopefully more emotionally prepared!

ОтветитьI really want to go to a convention, but I don’t think I Can travel to far or leave state and i don’t know if I can save up enough money, and I don’t even know how to know when or where conventions are.
Also I’m currently working on my first costume!!! I’m making dragons wings and stuff
I'm going to Kumoricon tomorrow (Not a cosplayer)
I really wanted to learn proper etiquette. Thank you so much
im going to my first convention in a few months and i dont really know what to expect. one thing i want to know is what is a good amount of money to bring? i want to buy things there but how muchmoney should i bring?
ОтветитьI always ask if i can take a picture but sometimes i ask to NOT look at camera and to CONTINUE what they was doing because i want to take picture of how people have fun at con
ОтветитьIs NSFW content in these conventions always sectioned off so everyone knows where it's at and where not to go if you don't want to see NSFW stuff??? Or it's it just a risk someone has to take that they may be around NSFW content??? I have extremely anxiety around people and images that is NSFW so I get really worried about conventions for this reason because I always see sowmth8ng sexual when looking at convention stuff and it bothers me
ОтветитьI'm new to cosplay and don't know how to talk to anyone
ОтветитьGreat video. Watching from London UK.❤
Ответитьlol watching this in full cosplay less than a week before my second con haha
ОтветитьI'm glad you mentioned furry cons among all of that, cosplayers and furries are essentially the same thing. I do plan on going to both furry and cosplay cons in the future but right now I'm still new to both and young so yeah.
ОтветитьI don't know if you included this, but usually there is also a cosplay catwalk!
ОтветитьMe and my best friend have a con in literally ten days this helped a ton!
ОтветитьThanks for the tips, im going to the comic con in july, super stoked for my first time. Also doing a little partying in san diego afterwards 🎉
ОтветитьThank you for this video! I'm taking a friend to their first convention and I've been trying to find videos that can help them prepare for the experience. This is the most comprehensive video that I've found so far!
ОтветитьThank you! This was so helpful cuz I’m gonna be going to Anime Boston next week, and this is helping me prepare so much! And I just can’t wait, thank you so much for the tips
ОтветитьI have been attending cons consistently since about 2018. And attended my first con back in 2015. And I understand all of these rules. But I remember my early days in cosplaying, and I didn't know these rules as I didn't realize that watching videos or had friends to tell me about what were general rules, suggestions or anything about how to survive a con. Here I have, years later with over 10 cons under my belt as well as over 30 cosplays under my belt. And have been wanting to share my take on what are general rules for cons
ОтветитьThis week i have my first Anime convation, thanks for the tips . I'm so excited 😊😀
ОтветитьIm going to my first in may as toga and i am thinking of bringing one of those fake retractable knifes and i dont know if they are fine to bring can anyone tell me? Tysm

ОтветитьIm going to a convention next month,It'll be my first. gonna go as my girl rem re-zero so this was helpful! Thank you 😊
Ответитьi cosplayed for the first time a week or so ago. i had a lot of fun but my mistake was choosing a genshin cosplay as my first one. i carried a 193 cm scythe and wore really tight pants where if i sat down there was a good chance of it ripping. i wore heels for the first time too and i wore them for 7 hours. i was hot and sweaty but i looked very cool. :)
ОтветитьI’ll be going to my first convention next month, thank you for the tips!🥹🫶
ОтветитьMe watching this knowing damn well I’m going to my 10th convention in like 2 weeks
ОтветитьIn sweden panels are usually cosplayers answering audience questions in character
ОтветитьOther reasons cash is better than are sometime vendors remove taxes with cash payments, and it prevents sneaky vendors from charging in foreign currency. I'm in Canada, sometime vendors sell something, they charge the exact amount in cash, but will collect in US dollar instead of Canadian dollar by credit card or debit card, so you get overcharged.
ОтветитьI don’t have a head to put my wig on when I’m not using it so until it’s ready to be styled, I have it out of cardboard box standing up 😅 had to get creative
ОтветитьI'm sorta scared to get the cosplay I want, mainly because I might regret it and people won't know my character, I'm wanting to cosplay Nikolai gogol from bungo stray dogs
ОтветитьI’m going to comic con w/ my freind soon and needed this.
ОтветитьI’m in crutches for my first con sooooo I’m already limited 😂
ОтветитьFor me its the best feeling when someone asks for a photo of my costume!
ОтветитьThank you so much in this because I now know that I shouldn't just say hi ways everyone every time I'm at a convention
