ОтветитьAs a native Hongkonger, I could proudly say our clay pot rice are way better than the ones in Mainland China.
Hing Kee has been in Temple Street for decades their clay pot rice used to be extremely delicious, nowadays it's pretty ok but definitely can't compare to the old days.
Back to the old days, clay pot rice and oyster omelette are the best delicacy in Temple Street. Same as clay pot rice, oyster omelette are also not as good as before.
So much value in these - great job - your are recording what might be a lost art and hopefuly encouraging another generation to continue in the steps of great street chefs like this woman - the pride and joy she has in this job .... no office job can give you that pride
ОтветитьDelicious

ОтветитьWhen I visited Hong Kong the moment I ate this I knew I had to buy one of those clay pots. It's been a staple of my kitchenware ever since, I treat it like it's made of gold.

ОтветитьComing from the restaurant industry it breaks my heart that so many restaurants suffer so greatly during the pandemic even the Chinese restaurants who’s government caused the entire pandemic. So very sad😥.

ОтветитьSo basically like a mini biriyani but addition of ingredients in reverse 😅
Ответитьa raw egg? really bruh just cook it u disgusting ziphead
ОтветитьCan feel the lady's warmth and passion, that will translate to her food.
ОтветитьI love the way you pass your heritage to uyour children. For however long this dish was invented in HK, we can make sure it will survive the ages to come! Culture and heritage are so rich I love getting immersed in them, especially in the asian cuisine side
ОтветитьMy favorite foods: clay pot rice, wonton noodle soup, and milk tea. My only concern is street food in HK tends to be insanitary. I get sick 70% of the time when I travel to HK.
ОтветитьI'm not chinese but I love claypot rice. whenever there is halal ones in my ctry (which is not many maybe 2 or 3 stores compared to the non-halal ones), I will eat it.
ОтветитьIso masak'e tapi blas ora doyan🤤
ОтветитьTried here in 2008 and again in 2017 while traveling. This place has a long history for their claypot rice!
