What is KaiserRedux?
KaiserRedux is an expanded edition of the mod "KaiserReich," an alternate ww2 scenario where the Central Powers (German Empire, Austria-Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire) successfully beat the allied Entente Powers in WW1. As a result of the United States staying neutral in the entire war, the Entente's defense was shattered by 1918, and German troopers marched into Paris, ending the Great War. France and Great Britain soon fell into socialist revolutions, forcing the old governments to flee into exile; the British government and the Royal Family evacuated to Canada while the French fled to their colonial possessions in Northwest Africa. The Soviet Union never came to be as the Central Powers intervened in the revolution and assassinated Lenin, thus the Russian Motherland is under the control of the Republic under Alexander Kerensky. By January 1936, Germany is experiencing its colonial golden age, despite the political issues from its former allies. Russia is under a period of instability, and the United States is experiencing a worse situation, as socialist and authoritarian elements threaten to break her apart with a second civil war on the horizon. The Third Internationale, the syndicalist bloc led by the socialists in France and Britain seek revenge against the Imperialists for the loss of their rightful territory. As the game starts, the future will be determined by the player.
