I just started a month ago. I watches some Bryon videos and tried to mimic his swing. I noticed i was single plane after watching a video of my swing. Im getting just under 300 yards carry with my driver and around 200 with my 4 iron. I have standard grips that are old and warn out and am putting on some large grips to see if it helps my accuracy. Most come out straught but have a tendecy to hook.

Hi Steve, Great video. I stumbled on this swing thought a couple of weeks ago whilst at the driving range.I was playing around with how the club was sitting behind the ball. Toe up heel up and started hitting the ball with high hands as you say. Suddenly I was hitting my irons much straighter even my 5 iron. I have not taken this swing on to my hybrids or woods but after watching your video I will take it on to my driver which is currently the weak part of my game.
Thanks keep up the great work.

I've seen a few videos demonstrating this technique and having tried it, it has one big flaw in my view. With the hands being high, it's very hard to get the clubhead above the hands in the takeaway, so unless your very skilled, this position can cause you to take the club inside and also roll the hands open the backswing. It didn't work for me.

Funny thing... I discovered all this info on my own at the range this past month and then I come across this video and its everything I'm applying.....my game has improved greatly...thanks for reinforcing my discovery.

Good stuff, Moe Norman way. I've been playing like this for 20 years, the missing piece is feeling like the right arm is going to the target or pointing the club at the target same thing. I'm in my fifties and play to a 3 hdcp. This is the easiest way to play good golf most of the time. Watch some of Moe's videos and listen to what he says about the right arm. That's the secret to golf, I believe. Good Luck have fun

The one thing I noticed in your swing is that both your feet and shoulders seem to be aimed far to the left. Is this just something you figure out to tune the swing to get the ball going where you intend or is there a starting point I should try when setting up for this type of swing?

After a fairly strong finish to a round yesterday, thinking, maybe I’ve finally nailed it (appreciating very few ever have actually ‘nailed it’)…I come across this.

Tried it hitting into a net and never struck it so pure 😱

…looks like I’m starting all over again 🤣

Steve, a comment and questions. This seems similar to “the Heard Super Swing” without the strong grip. I remember you doing the Stack and Tilt series. Which of these two swings would you use and would the weight forward thought work with this swing? Also, with this swing, do you simply open and close face to fade and draw the ball? Thanks

Actually looks quite normal. When we take our grip we should always hold the club with our left hand and arch our wrist out to the ball. Then we can place our right hand on the club from under the shaft. And, we should always grip the club lightly when we first place our hands on the ball. Then, when we raise our position, to look up to the target, the weight of the clubhead will press the handle up against the heel pad of the hand. This helps to ensure that the hand is fully extended.

Well you’ve just made the change I’ve made. It’s the Kirk Junge “Set up 4 impact” method. Combination of moe and Bryson and a little stack and tilt. Easyist swing in golf. You should give Kirk some credit. It is a great method.
Great video 😊

Paddy Harrington says you must use your hands.
High hands points the face right. Lie angles will be all out by a significant amount.
Not releasing the club robs speed.
