A Surprisingly well done Remake, which takes the first 4 films and puts them in 1. Way better than Friday the 13th V, and Jason Goes to Hell, which are the worst of the series and I didn't like Friday the 13th: Part 2, because Jason didn't have his trademark hockey mask and a doofy sack over his head. It wasn't till the third Friday the 13th that he got his hockey mask, so in some ways condensing the films made it better.

Seeing menacing jason run full speed was the version that we didn't know we needed. People just love to hate new things. Just because something is first/original doesn't mean its the best.

the 2009 reboot of Friday the 13th had just about everything i wanted to see in it such as Jason being the killer, Jason wearing a potato sack and then Jason wearing the hockey mask afterwards and Jason killing 13 people but some of the things i wanted to see that they didn't put in it was the movie beginning with Jason drowning in 1957 before showing his Mom getting her head chopped off, Jason chopping someone's head off with his machete and the sleeping bag kill in this should of been like the original cut of Friday the 13th Part VII with Jason sacking a girl in a sleeping bag against a tree more once but aside from i like this movie.

Unpopular Opinion.

I like this remake. Imo it’s almost as good as the 2003 Texas chaninsaw massacre film as well as the 04 Dawn of the dead remake. I really liked how they added underground tunnels on crystal lake which perfectly explains how Jason can just randomly go from one place to the other. I also liked the addition of booby traps. I also find Jasón more terrifying when he’s still human and he actually runs. The only thing I would’ve changed is the origin story being retold. Just skip to Jason in his hockey mask brutally murdering people and you got yourselves a good remake.

For anyone out there that still hasn't seen this movie, here is a PSA: There are maybe 5 female cast members and for 3 of them you get to see their titties. Don't let these guys fool you. All of them are great, but the sex scene with Julianna Guill is hall of fame worthy. Possibly some of the best breasts ever recorded on screen. Right up there with Alexandra Daddario and Syndey Sweeney. I think Mr Skin would agree with me. If there's ever a reason to watch this movie, it's for the tits! 🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉

I've been a horror fan since I was 5 in particular a Friday the 13th/Jason Voorhees fan. 99% of things I love everyone hates & the same goes for everything I hate everyone else loves. I loved this movie, I thought they did a great job with the story, they stayed true to the original plot as much as possible & Jason was pretty much spot on. An example of the something I hate that everyone loves is Tom Holland. I can't stand that atrocious wooden actor. He ruined Spider-Man forever for me & is 100% unworthy to play Nathan Drake in Uncharted which is why I didn't see it. I'm not letting that get ruined too. Anyway I loved this movie & I loved Friday the 13th part 7 & 8 which everyone appeared to hate.
